With the continuous improvement of modernization, people's living standards are also constantly improving, people's quality of life is also constantly improving, and people's lifestyles are also constantly changing. It is precisely because of this situation that people do more and more things, so this is also better, and this pearly papule is one of them. As for this kind of pearly papules, there are actually many different practices in society. What people do are also relatively good and there are also many of them. The following is some information about this kind of pearly papules. Pearly penile papules, also known as pearly penile papules, penile hairy papilloma, coronal sulcus or glans papules, are also called hairy penis or multi-papillary penis by some scholars. Currently, pearly penile papules are generally considered to be a symptom rather than a disease. This disease is often seen in STD clinics and is often misdiagnosed as genital warts. 1. Causes and incidence The cause and incidence of pearly penile papules are still unclear. Some scholars believe that this disease is an abnormality of physiological development. Some scholars also believe that it is related to the foreskin being too long. For example, a survey by Chen Xue et al. found that the incidence of penile pearly papules in young men with foreskin being too long was significantly higher than that in those with normal foreskin. Some scholars also believe that the disease may be related to HPV infection, but Ferenczy et al. and Zhang Kaijin et al. detected HPV in the lesion tissue and found no HPV. The author observed that the patient's foreskin was too long, the local hygiene was poor, the coronary sulcus secretion and dirt were long-term irritation, or other Inflammatory reactions such as local redness and swelling caused by factors such as infection may be the direct cause of this disease. The incidence of pearly penile papules varies from report to report. Foreign reports show that the prevalence of this disease in the normal male population is 8.3%-30.1%. A survey by Chen Fenggang et al. in China found 159 cases among 239 men (excluding those with phimosis and sexually transmitted diseases), with an incidence rate of 66.53%. Zhang Kaijin et al. found 220 cases among 917 cases, with an incidence rate of 24%. Chen Xue et al. found 786 cases among 2037 young men who underwent premarital physical examinations, with an incidence rate of 37.92%. The author investigated 276 cases in STD clinics and found 109 cases, with an incidence rate of 39.49%. These findings suggest that penile pearly papules It is a common disease clinically. 2. Clinical manifestations Pearly penile papules are more common in men around 20-30 years old. The lesions mainly occur at the junction of the edge of the glans and the coronal sulcus and/or the frenulum. The lesions are papules of 1-3 mm in size, and are larger on both sides of the frenulum. The top of the papule is round and smooth, and some papules are hairy or thread-like. The papules are mostly not fused with each other and are densely arranged in multiple rows. They are obvious on the dorsal side of the glans and may partially or completely surround the glans. The lesions are mostly pearly white in color, a few are light red or skin color, and some may appear slightly red and swollen. There was no tenderness, no ulceration, and the patient had no subjective symptoms. 3. Histopathological examination The histopathological examination of penile pearly papules showed hyperkeratosis, mild to moderate hyperplasia of the epidermis, normal basal layer, slight hyperplasia and density of collagen fibers in the dermis, varying degrees of hyperplasia and dilation of dermal papillary capillaries, a small amount of lymphocyte infiltration around them, and no cavitary cells. 4. Key points of differential diagnosis The key point in the differential diagnosis between pearly penile papules and condyloma acuminatum is that in the former, the lesions are limited to the edge of the glans, the number of lesions is large, they are pearly milky white papules, the surface is smooth, the lesions do not increase with the progression of the disease, and the acetic acid test is negative; while in the latter, the lesions are not limited to the edge of the glans, they are mostly single and scattered, the lesions are large, the surface is not smooth, and they are mostly cauliflower-shaped, they gradually increase with the progression of the disease, the acetic acid test is positive, and histopathological examination shows concave cells. Through the above understanding and introduction, I believe everyone can have a certain understanding of this pearly papules. At the same time, I also hope that everyone can be helped by the above knowledge. At the same time, I also hope that everyone can do more exercises suitable for themselves in daily life, and develop a good habit of going to bed early and getting up early. |
