Small pimples under the breast

Small pimples under the breast

When small bumps appear under the skin of the breast, you should pay attention and go to the hospital for examination in time. Ultrasound and other methods can be used for examination. There are many reasons for this situation. The most common one is breast fibroids. Generally speaking, as long as the boundaries and limits are clear, they are all benign fibroids. Of course, we must also be wary of some unnecessary hazards. Let's take a look at this aspect.

Small pimples under the breast

It may be a fibroid. It is recommended to go to the hospital's surgery department in time and have an ultrasound examination. If it is considered to be a fibroid, surgical treatment is recommended.

Breast fibroids are often seen in adolescent women. Generally, there are no obvious symptoms. Only a few people have local tingling sensation, but this has nothing to do with menstruation.

Some patients with breast fibroids do not feel any pain at all, or only feel slight distension or dull pain. This pain has nothing to do with the size, and the tumor grows relatively slowly.

Biopsy of breast fibroids: The fibroids are surrounded by a layer of membrane, have a hard texture, and are grayish white and shiny on the cross section. Many irregularly arranged cracks can be seen with the naked eye.

After taking X-rays, patients with breast fibroids will find that the edges of the tumor are relatively clear and the boundaries are clearly visible, indicating that the tumor is benign.

The lumps mostly occur in the upper outer quadrant of the breast and are mostly solitary, but multiple lumps may appear simultaneously or successively in one or both breasts. They are round or oval in shape, with a smooth surface, clear boundaries, hard texture, and can be moved without adhesion to the skin or deep tissues.

Is surgery necessary for breast fibroadenoma?

First, the current diagnosis is only a clinical diagnosis and has not been confirmed by pathology, so the accuracy is not 100%. Clinically, there are indeed cases that resemble breast fibroadenomas but are reported as breast cancer by pathology after surgical resection.

Second, since breast fibroadenoma cannot be completely cured by drugs, although it is a benign tumor, it is not without the possibility of malignancy. In addition, if the tumor continues to grow, the scope of surgical resection will inevitably increase, increasing trauma. Therefore, if conditions permit, surgery can be performed as soon as possible.
