Symptoms of favism

You can also take sodium bicarbonate orally and supplement the required vitamin C in large quantities to effectively correct the electrolyte imbalance. Sodium bicarbonate is usually a common drug. After use, the urine remains alkaline and can prevent hemoglobin from precipitating in the renal tubules.

While patients are treating favism, they need to stop consuming broad beans in their diet.
