High bilirubin

High bilirubin

Bilirubin is what we call jaundice in daily life. The total bilirubin in daily life is mainly the sum of direct bilirubin and some indirect bilirubin. Bilirubin in life is related to diseases, mainly some liver diseases, mainly acute icteric hepatitis and some chronic active hepatitis and signs of cirrhosis. Major diseases are mainly hemolytic jaundice and some neonatal jaundice.

The examination of bilirubin in daily life is of great clinical significance. High or low bilirubin will cause certain harm and impact. Increased bilirubin will cause some malignant hepatitis and blood type incompatibility, and will cause some pancreatitis, hepatitis and some other types of hepatitis symptoms.

1. High total bilirubin and indirect bilirubin, while other indicators are normal, indicate that a large number of red blood cells in the body have been destroyed, resulting in hemolytic jaundice. It may also be accompanied by blood type incompatibility during blood transfusion and pernicious anemia.

2. High total bilirubin and direct bilirubin, while other levels are normal, indicates obstructive jaundice. The bile duct is blocked and bile carrying direct bilirubin cannot be excreted from the body. It may also be accompanied by diseases such as pancreatic head cancer, cholelithiasis, bile duct malformation, and bile duct cancer.

3. High total bilirubin, high indirect bilirubin, and high direct bilirubin indicate hepatocellular jaundice, liver cell damage, liver dysfunction, and the liver cannot completely convert indirect bilirubin into direct bilirubin. At the same time, the compression of the intrahepatic bile duct causes excretion disorders, and direct bilirubin cannot be completely discharged into the bile duct. It may be accompanied by acute icteric hepatitis, chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer and other diseases.

The above is the phenomenon of high bilirubin. When the total bilirubin is high, timely treatment and diagnosis are required. You must maintain a good rest method to ensure proper exercise every day, maintain good living habits and ensure a good mood. A good mood is also very important. Clinically, professional treatment must be carried out for high bilirubin.
