How to make lithospermum oil

1. Brewing method.

Use rapeseed oil or sesame oil (you can also use virgin olive oil) to add an appropriate amount of comfrey and soak for more than two weeks.

The disadvantages of this method are: it takes the longest time

The advantage is that the loss of medicinal ingredients of Lithospermum officinale is minimal.

2. Steaming method.

Use rapeseed oil or sesame oil to soak an appropriate amount of comfrey for more than an hour, then steam it in a steamer for 30 minutes to an hour. Prevent water vapor from entering the oil during steaming, and keep the container containing the oil covered.

This method takes less time and results in less loss of medicinal ingredients in Lithospermum officinale.

3. Frying method.

Boil rapeseed oil or sesame oil, put the comfrey in, and let it cool.

Advantages: Shortest time

The disadvantage is that the medicinal ingredients of lithospermum are lost the most.
