Precautions for measles vaccination

Precautions for measles vaccination

In today's society, technology is becoming more and more advanced, and medical standards have also greatly improved. In previous societies, people might have died from a respiratory infectious disease that was previously called smallpox, but now there are very few people who die from the respiratory infectious virus now called measles. In fact, whether in the past or now, we should pay attention to preventing this virus in our daily lives.

Furthermore, in today's society, measles vaccination is generally given to children when they are still children. Therefore, we should attach great importance to the protection of children and the precautions when children are vaccinated against measles. If you experience any allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately.

Things to note when getting measles vaccine:

1. Do not eat eggs;

2. Do not eat seafood;

3. Do not eat foods high in protein, such as beef and chicken; in addition, keep a happy spirit and do not do strenuous exercise.

Notes on measles vaccination:

1. The reaction to measles vaccine is quite special. There may be a fever reaction within 5-12 days after the vaccination, usually around 8 days.

2. Fever reaction to measles vaccine is quite common.

3. The fever caused by measles vaccine is generally not high, around 38 degrees. If it does not exceed 38.5 degrees, you do not need to go to the hospital, just drink more water.

4. After the fever subsides, a rash may appear.

5. Do not eat beef, mutton or seafood, avoid crying, drink plenty of water, get enough rest, and do not take a bath for 24 hours.

Three things to note when getting measles vaccine:

For children who have been vaccinated against measles, re-vaccination not only has no side effects, but can also enhance the immune effect. However, children who are allergic to eggs should not be vaccinated; people with serious illnesses, acute or chronic infections, and fever symptoms should not be vaccinated temporarily, but can be vaccinated after recovery and with the doctor's permission; those who have been injected with immunoglobulin within 1 month should wait for more than 1 month before being vaccinated again.

When getting the measles vaccine, paying attention to these can avoid other conditions caused by allergies and minimize the damage to the body. For children, when getting vaccinated, because children have relatively low immunity, they are most likely to have fever and heat, so parents should pay more attention to this.
