Parkinson's disease treatment with traditional Chinese medicine

Parkinson's disease treatment with traditional Chinese medicine

In recent years, more and more elderly people have suffered from brain diseases, either cerebral thrombosis or cerebral congestion, and some have even suffered from Parkinson's disease, which was rare in China before. Parkinson's disease seriously reduces the quality of life of patients, making them unable to take care of themselves and causing various complications. However, since this disease has appeared in China, we should find a traditional Chinese medicine treatment method for Parkinson's disease.

In my understanding, I always thought that Parkinson's disease was a rare disease that only exists in foreign countries. It was not until I learned that many cases have appeared in our country that I corrected my understanding of Parkinson's disease. It is one of the most common mental degenerative diseases. This disease is a torture to the patient's body and mind. Now let us learn about the Chinese medicine treatment of Parkinson's disease.

TCM advice

1. Relaxation and breathing exercises: Find a quiet place, dim the lights, and lie on your back as comfortably as possible. Close your eyes and begin breathing deeply and slowly. When you inhale, your abdomen expands and imagine the air reaching the top of your head. When you exhale, your abdomen relaxes and imagine the air flowing down from the top of your head, through your back to the soles of your feet, and imagine relaxing the muscles of your whole body. Repeat this exercise for 5-15 minutes. You can also sit down, lean back, relax your whole body, put your hands on your chest and take deep breaths.

2. Facial movement exercises: The special facial features of Parkinson's patients are "mask faces", which are caused by stiff facial muscles, resulting in dull facial expressions. Therefore, it is necessary to do some facial movement exercises. Frowning action: Frown as much as possible, then stretch your eyebrows forcefully, repeat several times. Open and close your eyes and puff up your cheeks: first, puff up your cheeks, then suck your cheeks in as much as possible. Show your teeth and whistle. Show your teeth as much as possible, then whistle. Look in the mirror and make your face smile, laugh, grin, pout, whistle, puff out your cheeks, etc.

3. Exercises for the head and neck: The necks of Parkinson’s patients are often in a forward-leaning posture and are very stiff. Many people think that this is caused by cervical spondylosis. If you do not pay attention to the exercise and rehabilitation of the neck, it is easy to aggravate the abnormal posture, which will manifest as increasingly severe hunchback. The following is a set of neck rehabilitation methods. But it should be noted that since most Parkinson's patients are elderly, they often have cervical spondylosis of varying degrees. Therefore, when performing the following exercises, you must proceed step by step, gradually increase the range of motion, and exercise slowly and gently. Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling for about 5 seconds, moving up and down: then lower your head and try to touch your chin to your chest. Turn left and right: Turn your head to the right and look back to the right for about 5 seconds, then do the same to the left. Repeatedly and slowly turn your face toward your left and right shoulders, and try to touch your shoulders with your chin. Swing left and right: Slowly lean your head toward your left and right shoulders, trying to touch your shoulders with your ears. Forward and backward movement: Hold the jaw forward for 5 seconds, then retract for 5 seconds.

In addition, the recovery effect will be better if combined with Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese acupuncture therapy.

Through the above detailed introduction, I believe that everyone has a very comprehensive understanding of the Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment methods for Parkinson's disease. Care for the elderly, care for elderly patients, and care for elderly Parkinson's patients. As long as everyone gives a little love, the world will become a beautiful spring. If everyone gives a little care, the elderly's later years will also be spring.
