Chronic rheumatoid arthritis

Chronic rheumatic arthritis is an allergic disease and one of the manifestations of rheumatic fever. In life, most of the elderly people around us suffer from chronic rheumatic arthritis. Patients will feel great physical pain because of this disease, so people should know more about this disease in their daily lives, which will be of great help in the prevention and treatment of this disease. In addition, patients can reduce psychological pressure.

When chronic rheumatoid arthritis occurs, it will cause unbearable pain to patients. Most patients use medication to treat the disease. Below we will introduce some knowledge about this disease so that people can know more about it, prevent it, treat it early, and relieve patients' pain.

1. Characteristics of rheumatoid arthritis

(1) The pain lasts for a short time, usually 12 to 72 hours, and no longer than 3 weeks, and is mostly felt in large joints such as the knees, elbows, and shoulders.

(2) Migratory pain, that is, after the pain in one joint has improved or has not significantly improved, another joint is affected and pain occurs.

(3) Joint pain is accompanied by redness, swelling, tenderness around the joint, and resistance to pressure.

(4) Symmetrical pain. The lesions may affect the same joints of both limbs at the same time. For example, pain may occur in both knees and elbows at the same time.

2. Avoid invasion of wind, cold and dampness. To prevent cold, rain and moisture, pay attention to keeping the joints warm, do not wear wet clothes, wet shoes, wet socks, etc. In the hot summer, don't seek coolness or drink too much cold drinks. The climate in autumn is dry, but the wind is refreshing and the weather is getting cooler, so we should prevent ourselves from getting cold. The winter wind is biting cold, so keeping warm is the most important thing.

3. Pay attention to the combination of work and rest. Eating in moderation, having regular daily routine, and combining work and rest are the main measures to strengthen your body and maintain your health. Clinically, although the condition of some rheumatoid arthritis patients is basically under control and they are in the recovery period, their condition often worsens or relapses due to fatigue. Therefore, they need to combine work and rest, and maintain moderate activity and rest.

The above is an introduction to chronic rheumatic disease. People can treat and prevent this disease based on this introduction. They can also determine whether they have the disease early, detect it early, and treat it early to reduce the patient's pain. If the disease is serious, you should go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
