Influenza A is actually a type of influenza. It has a certain incubation period and is contagious, so we must pay attention to prevention in our lives. The incubation period of human infection with swine flu is generally about 1 to 7 days, which is longer than that of influenza and avian influenza.

1. Clinical symptoms

The early symptoms of swine flu in humans are similar to those of normal human flu, including fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people may also experience diarrhea or vomiting, muscle pain or fatigue, red eyes, etc.

The condition of some patients may progress rapidly and violently, with sudden high fever, body temperature exceeding 39°C, and even secondary severe pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary hemorrhage, pleural effusion, pancytopenia, renal failure, sepsis, shock and Reye syndrome, respiratory failure and multiple organ damage, leading to death.

(II) Physical signs

Pulmonary signs are often not obvious, and some patients may have moist rales or signs of pulmonary consolidation.

(III) Prognosis

The prognosis of humans infected with swine flu is related to the infected virus subtype, and most have a good prognosis; while those infected with H1N1 have a poor prognosis, with a mortality rate of approximately 6%.
