Functions and indications: Clears away heat and purges fire, cools blood and stops bleeding. It is used for intestinal heat, bloody stool, hemorrhoidal swelling and bleeding, liver heat, headache, dizziness and red eyes.

Dosage and Administration: For oral administration: decoct in water, 6-15g; or make into pills or powder; or mash the young horns into juice. For external use: take appropriate amount, decoct in water for washing; or grind into powder and mix with oil for application.

Contraindications: People with weak spleen and stomach, poor appetite and loose stools, and pregnant women should take it with caution.

Sophora japonica tea is sweet and delicious with a long aftertaste. This tea has the effects of softening blood vessels, lowering blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, relieving wind and heat, moistening the large intestine, cooling blood and relieving constipation. People who suffer from chest tightness, red and tearful eyes, dizziness, and hemorrhoid bleeding can benefit from drinking this tea regularly. It is particularly effective in lowering triglycerides, preventing and treating hemorrhoids.

Clears away heat, moistens the liver, cools blood and stops bleeding. It is used to treat intestinal bloody diarrhea, hemorrhoidal bleeding, metrorrhagia, hematuria, bloody dysentery, chest tightness, dizziness, and itchy genital sores. Clears the fire in the heart, lungs, spleen, liver and large intestine. Treats heat and pain in the heart and abdomen. Nourishes the liver and blood. It can treat malnutrition, carbuncle, bloody diarrhea, and metrorrhagia; the kernel in its horn can nourish the brain and kill insects.

How to drink

Generally, put more than 8 Sophora japonica pods in a cup and brew with boiling water. It can be drunk after 3 minutes. You can add water multiple times and continue drinking, even overnight.

Storage method: Store in a cool and dry place. Because it is made from honey, it must be kept away from moisture.

Pregnant women, people with low blood pressure and cold stomach should not take it.
