C. Acute suppurative otitis media

[Treatment method]: Detoxify, discharge pus, clear away heat and dampness with Chinese medicine such as honeysuckle 20, forsythia suspensa 15, dandelion 20, wild chrysanthemum 15, platycodon 10, angelica 10, bupleurum 10, gardenia jasmine, etc.

[Additions and subtractions]: (1) For severe ear pain, add 12 gleditsiae thorns and 10 pangolins. (2) For viscous pus in the ear, add 20 coix seeds and 15 poria.

Otitis media treatment and prevention

(1) Combination of Chinese and Western cultures;

2) Combination of oral and topical antibiotics;

(3) Combination of two antibiotics;

(4) Alternate the use of antibiotics to prevent the formation of drug resistance;

(5) Continue to use the medicine for 5 to 8 days after the symptoms and signs have improved;

6) Application of Chinese medicine: heat-clearing and detoxifying Chinese medicine prescriptions such as Wuwei Xiaodu Yin, etc.;

(7) Actively treat the primary disease such as cold, rhinitis, sinusitis, nasopharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.;

(8) Keep the drainage channel unobstructed.
