Causes of peeling skin between toes

Causes of peeling skin between toes

Peeling of the skin between the toes is quite common in our lives. It may be caused by bacterial infection in our lives, or it may be caused by tinea pedis on the toenails. Therefore, we recommend that you understand the reasons for peeling of the skin between the toes in your life. Generally, if we want to treat peeling in the middle of toenails in our daily life, we can use the foot soaking method.

The treatment is mainly antifungal treatment. You need to soak your feet in hot water for about 20 minutes every night, and then apply Pikangwang or Dakning cream topically. You can also directly use Zuguangsan for bathing, etc. The treatment will usually be cured in about a week. But don't wear stuffy shoes. Wash your feet with hot water every day, boil your socks with boiling water or expose them to the sun for disinfection, and expose your shoes to the sun regularly, etc. This can prevent this situation from happening again.

You may have tinea pedis, which is also known as "athlete's foot" and "foot dampness" in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a skin disease caused by superficial fungal infection, which can be divided into two types: dry and wet. The main manifestations of dry type are dry, rough, thickened, peeling skin on the soles of the feet, and easy cracking in winter; the main manifestations of wet type are small blisters and erosion between the toes, moist and white skin, flushing after the old skin is scratched, and exudation of yellow water. Both are extremely itchy, and both may exist at the same time, with recurring symptoms that are worse in spring and summer and better in autumn and winter.

When washing your feet, soak your feet in warm water in a basin for two or three minutes. When your feet are warm, press the heel of one foot slightly above the toes of the other foot. Then push the heel forward to the toes and rub it back. Pull back lightly and push forward heavily so as not to rub the skin. Rub each toe space 50 to 80 times, alternating between feet. The speed is 100 to 120 times per minute. Once every night. This method is not suitable for people with severe athlete's foot and broken skin on the upper part.

The skin lesions initially appear as needle-tip-sized white blisters, which may gradually expand and rupture in the center to form paper-thin dandruff, or merge into large pieces of epidermal exfoliation. They lack inflammatory characteristics and often occur symmetrically on the hands and feet, especially the palms. There are generally no subjective symptoms and they often heal on their own after a few weeks. They are prone to recurrence in warm seasons and are often accompanied by sweat blisters and localized hyperhidrosis. Most patients are adults. Treatment can be done by applying 10% urea cream externally and taking vitamin A, vitamin E, etc. orally.

Regarding the condition of peeling in the middle of toenails introduced in the article, we recommend that everyone should deal with this disease well in life to avoid causing greater damage to our foot skin. Therefore, we recommend that patients with peeling in the middle of the toes should wash their feet frequently in life to suppress the bacteria in the middle of the toes.
