Rheumatism is a chronic disease, which mainly occurs in middle-aged and elderly people. Rheumatoid arthritis is also difficult to cure. It mainly damages some tissues around the joints, making people's joints unable to move normally. Moreover, this disease can be fatal when it occurs. It is very painful when it occurs. Therefore, if there are family members with this disease, you must take precautions and be mentally prepared. (1) Febrile rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis with long-term high fever as the main symptom: The clinical characteristics of this disease are long-term fever, rash, arthritis, enlarged liver, spleen and lymph nodes, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, increased or persistent leukocytosis and eosinophilia, no bacterial growth in the blood, antibiotic treatment is ineffective but hormone treatment is effective. (2) Monoarticular rheumatoid arthritis: Monoarticular rheumatoid arthritis often starts from a single joint, such as the hip, knee, or ankle. The lesion is always located in one joint, with repeated swelling and pain, and slow alternation of relief and aggravation. It is often accompanied by pain in other joints (but not swelling). The course of the disease may last from one to several years, and eventually it may be accompanied by osteoarthritis, which may leave mild joint deformities and functional disorders. If correctly diagnosed and treated early, the disease can usually be cured and the prognosis is good. (4) Dry arthritis Dry arthritis refers to rheumatoid arthritis with joint stiffness and contracture as the main clinical manifestations. There is little or no obvious swelling in the joints, and there may be severe pain or no pain at all. However, joint destruction and hyperplasia develop rapidly, causing the joints to be damaged and deformed within a few months to 1 to 2 years, leading to disability. This type of rheumatoid disease may first cause granulomas in the bone tissue and then spread to the joints, leading to joint lesions, with very little exudate in the joint cavity. (5) Visceral rheumatoid arthritis Visceral rheumatoid arthritis is common in children and adolescents, with high inflammatory activity. Most patients are accompanied by rheumatoid subcutaneous nodules, leukocytosis, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, severe anemia, positive rheumatoid factor with very high titer, and enlarged liver, spleen and lymph nodes, accompanied by one or more manifestations of involvement of internal organs. Its characteristic is that when visceral symptoms are prominent, joint swelling and pain are generally moderate, sometimes mild or relegated to a secondary position. From this we can see how tricky this type of disease is. Treatment will cause some damage to the body, and it cannot be completely eradicated. Therefore, we must take good care of our bodies. Rheumatism is mainly caused by not paying attention when we are young. |
