TCM treatment of bilateral breast hyperplasia

TCM treatment of bilateral breast hyperplasia

Breast hyperplasia is a disease that women are more likely to suffer from. Whether they are women in their twenties or forties, they may suffer from this disease. Generally, the main symptom is glandular hyperplasia, and this disease may become malignant, and once it becomes malignant, it will directly turn into breast cancer. It can be said that this disease poses a great threat to women. So, what is the traditional Chinese medicine treatment for bilateral breast hyperplasia?

Chinese medicine treatment:

1. TCM external treatment for internal diseases (external application)

The main clinical symptoms of breast hyperplasia are breast pain and breast lumps, which are often related to emotional changes during the menstrual cycle, excessive fatigue and other factors, or are accompanied by nipple pain and discharge. Its incidence rate ranks first among breast diseases. Domestic and foreign studies have shown that breast hyperplasia is definitely related to the occurrence of breast cancer. Breast epithelial hyperplasia significantly increases the risk of cancer. The Chinese medicine Sanjie Ru'an Paste is made according to the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine for internal disease external treatment, with more than 20 kinds of Chinese medicine preparation, and the therapeutic effect is very good. The treatment process is as follows:

1. Soothe the liver and regulate qi, and regulate qi flow.

The nipples and breasts are where the liver meridian runs. Women's liver is innate, and it stores blood and regulates excretion. It is yin in nature but uses yang, making it easy for them to become depressed. People with breast lumps often have depressed temperament, excessive worries, or irritability, chest tightness and belching. Breast pain and changes in the size of the lump are also often related to emotional changes. Liver depression and qi stagnation have an important influence on the pathogenesis of breast diseases. When the seven emotions are not smooth, the liver loses its smooth function, and liver depression and qi stagnation accumulate in the intestinal network, causing pain and lumps. Therefore, soothing the liver and regulating qi, and regulating qi are the main principles for treating breast lumps.

2. Promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and dredge milk meridians.

Breast pain and lumps are the main symptoms, both of which are characteristic manifestations of blood stasis syndrome. Worry, anger, depression and unhappiness will inevitably lead to poor liver qi and stagnation of qi, which will last for a long time and spread to the inside, causing blood circulation to be blocked and menstruation to be blocked, unable to fill the uterus and unable to overflow into the breasts. The milk meridians are blocked, qi stagnates and blood stagnates, forming lumps, which will cause pain. Before menstruation, the Chong and Ren meridians are filled with blood, causing breast swelling and pain to worsen. After menstruation, the Qi and blood are released, and the swelling and pain are relieved. It can be seen that it is inevitable for people with breast problems to develop blood stasis. During treatment, we must pay attention to promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, as well as unblocking the milk collaterals.

3. Resolve phlegm, soften hard masses, reduce swelling and disperse lumps.

Worrying too much can damage the spleen or cause liver depression and qi stagnation, which can go against the spleen and earth, and can cause the spleen to lose its healthy function, internal generation of phlegm and dampness, insufficient kidney qi, and malnutrition of the Chong and Ren meridians. If the spleen yang cannot be warmed, semen cannot be transported and transformed, and moisture accumulates to form phlegm. Liver depression lasts for a long time, turning into heat and fire, burning body fluid into phlegm. Phlegm, Qi, and blood stasis combine to form breast lumps. Therefore, phlegm congestion has a certain influence on the pathogenesis of breast diseases. Resolving phlegm, softening hard masses, reducing swelling and dispersing nodules can help the swelling and pain disappear without a trace.

2. Massage (auxiliary treatment)

1. Pushing and stroking method: The patient sits or lies on his side to fully expose his chest. First, sprinkle some talcum powder or apply a little paraffin oil on the affected breast, and then use the palms of both hands to gently push and stroke along the breast along the milk duct toward the nipple 50 to 100 times.

2. Kneading method: Use the hypothenar or thenar eminence on the palm of your hand to apply pressure to the affected area, and gently knead the red, swollen and painful areas. Knead the lumps repeatedly several times until the lumps become soft.

3. Kneading, pinching and holding method: Use the five fingers of your right hand to grab the breast on the affected side and apply kneading techniques, grabbing and releasing, and repeat the technique 10 to 15 times. Use your left hand to gently pull the nipple several times to expand the milk ducts in the nipple.

4. Oscillation method: Use the hypothenar part of the right hand to push from the swelling of the breast along the base of the breast toward the nipple with high-speed oscillation, and repeat 3 to 5 times. The effect is better when a slight warm sensation appears locally.

3. Acupuncture

Acupoints: Tanzhong, Wuyi, Hegu and Zusanli are the main acupoints.

Procedure: Use a 1-1.5-inch filiform needle to obliquely insert the needle into the Tanzhong point toward the base of the breast, and also insert the Wuyi point obliquely toward the base of the breast; other points are mainly inserted vertically. After twisting to get qi, the Tanzhong and Wuyi points are needled, and the remaining points are needled once every 10 minutes. Tonify or drain according to the symptoms, the needles are retained for 20 minutes each time. 10 times constitute a course of treatment, with an interval of 3 to 5 days between courses. Treatment is suspended during menstruation.

For women, preventive measures should be taken in a timely manner. No matter what unhappy things happen in life, they should keep their emotions stable, have an optimistic attitude towards life, and pay attention to the combination of work and rest at work. If there is any abnormality in menstruation, you need to go to the hospital for a physical examination in time and seek treatment as soon as possible if any disease is found.
