How to cure condyloma with Chinese medicine?

How does Traditional Chinese Medicine treat condylomata? Many people usually pay attention to the hygiene and care of their skin. However, some people often neglect hygiene care due to being too busy at work. This situation often gives diseases an opportunity to take advantage. Among them, condyloma aforesaid is more common, which can cause local skin thickening and a lot of discomfort. Therefore, this situation needs timely treatment. The following is a detailed introduction to the Chinese medicine treatment of condyloma aforesaid.

1. Damp-heat syndrome

The syndrome of damp-heat descending may be accompanied by moist and reddish skin lesions around the anus, prepuce that is too long, excessive leucorrhea or other skin diseases. It is often accompanied by bitter and sticky mouth, thirst and dislike of drinking water, sticky and difficult stools, and yellow urine. The tongue is red with yellow and greasy coating, and the pulse is stringy and rapid. This is due to the dampness and heat in the liver and gallbladder flowing downward through the meridians into the genitals. Treatment should be aimed at clearing away dampness and heat, detoxifying and eliminating warts. The prescriptions and medicines are as follows:

Atractylodes 10g, Phellodendron chinense 10g, raw coix seed 30g, Smilax glabra 30g, Cortex Moutan 10g, Smilax glabra 10g, Alisma orientalis 10g, Portulaca oleracea 30g. In the formula, Atractylodes lancea and Phellodendron chinense clear away dampness and heat in the lower abdomen; raw Coix seed strengthens the spleen and removes dampness, and has antiviral function; combined with Smilax glabra, Cortex Moutan, Smilax glabra, Alisma orientalis, and Portulaca oleracea, they can detoxify, remove dampness, and promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. If the dampness and heat are severe, add 10g of gentian; if the patient has constipation, add 10g of aloe vera.

2. External infection and toxicity

Common warts grow rapidly or are combined with syphilis, gonorrhea, and a clear history of unclean sexual intercourse. Subjective symptoms are often mild or absent, and the tongue and pulse may be normal. This is due to external toxins and stagnation of toxic gases, which causes the warts to grow rapidly. Treatment should be aimed at clearing away heat and detoxifying. The commonly used prescription is the wart removal prescription No. 3 with modifications:

60g of Purslane, 15g of Patrinia oleracea, 15g of Lithospermum officinale, 15g of Isatis indigotica, 15g of Equisetum arvense. In the formula, purslane is the main ingredient, which clears away heat and detoxifies; it is combined with Patrinia scabra, Lithospermum officinale, Folium Isatidis, and Equisetum arvense to enhance the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, promoting blood circulation and dispersing nodules. If the skin lesions are gray or the disease has lasted for a long time, add blood-activating and blood-stasis-removing products such as beehive, salvia miltiorrhiza, and safflower.

3. Blood stasis syndrome

It is seen in patients whose skin lesions are dark red or dark brown, grow slowly, do not disappear for a long time, or have pain. The tongue is dull, the tongue coating is thin white, and the pulse is thready and wiry. This is due to the long-term accumulation of toxic evils, which block the Qi flow and cause Qi and blood stasis. Treatment should be aimed at regulating qi and activating blood circulation, removing blood stasis and dispersing nodules. The commonly used prescription is Taohong Siwu Decoction with modifications:

Peach kernel 10g, safflower 10g, Chuanxiong 10g, angelica 10g, white peony 10g, salvia miltiorrhiza 10g, beehive 10g, bupleurum 10g, selfheal 30g. The formula contains peach kernel, safflower, Chuanxiong, angelica, salvia miltiorrhiza, and beehive to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis; bupleurum soothes the liver and regulates qi, leading the medicine directly to the site of the disease; and prunella vulgaris clears away heat, detoxifies, softens and disperses lumps. If the patient suffers from qi deficiency, 30g of raw astragalus can be added to replenish qi, detoxify and improve the body's immunity. If the warts are hard, 30g each of raw dragon and oyster can be added to soften and disperse the warts.
