It is best to drink 200-250 ml of warm boiled water before moxibustion, and 200-250 ml of warm water after moxibustion, or even a little more. You can take a warm bath before moxibustion, and half an hour after moxibustion, you can take a hot bath that is slightly hotter than the skin temperature. Some people want to soak their feet while doing moxibustion, which can save time. You can soak your feet in hot water with the water temperature above 50 degrees. People who are doing moxibustion for the first time must learn to gradually adapt to the heat and gradually add moxibustion tools. Don't add too much at once, as the body will not be able to bear it and will feel too dry.
