1. Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle, also known as honeysuckle, comes from "Compendium of Materia Medica". It blooms in March and has strong adaptability. It likes sunshine, tolerates shade, has strong cold resistance, and is also resistant to drought and waterlogging. It is not demanding on soil, but grows best on moist, fertile, deep sandy soil.

Efficacy: It is sweet, cold and aromatic. It has been a good medicine for clearing away heat and detoxifying since ancient times. It is especially suitable for removing wind-heat, wind-heat exogenous infection, various fever symptoms, sore throat, measles, urticaria, acne and other febrile diseases. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antiviral effects.

How can I use it at home?

1. Sore throat due to wind-heat: 10 grams of honeysuckle and 10 grams of chrysanthemum, soak in boiling water and drink directly to clear away heat and detoxify.

2. Urethritis: 15g Imperata root, 15g honeysuckle, 20g talc, boil in water, diuretic and heat-clearing.

3. All kinds of swelling and pain caused by sores: 15g honeysuckle, 15g forsythia, 10g rehmannia, boil in water and drink.

2. Mint

Mint is a perennial herb that can be used as medicine and food. It is very easy to grow. Both its leaves and stems have a fresh fragrance and are also suitable for air purification.

Efficacy: pungent, cool, enters the lung meridian, dispels wind and heat, relieves sore throat and rashes, clears the head and eyes, and soothes the liver.

Daily Applications

1. Wind-heat cold, early stage of fever, headache, sore throat, often used together with burdock, schizonepeta and chrysanthemum to dispel wind and heat.

2. Liver qi stagnation, irritability and anger are often treated with bupleurum, white peony root, angelica and mint to soothe the liver and relieve depression, such as Xiaoyaosan.

3. Rubella itching, blood heat generating wind, combined with cicada shells, raw rehmannia, schizonepeta, kudzu root, to dispel wind and clear the rash, for example, Tou Zheng Decoction.

3. Perilla

2. Gastrointestinal discomfort, vomiting. Perilla can be used for chronic gastritis, chest tightness and vomiting. It is often used together with Patchouli to relieve chest tightness and regulate qi.

3. It can detoxify all seafood. You can use perilla to season seafood meals, which not only increases the deliciousness but also detoxifies the cold nature of seafood. Kill two birds with one stone.

Used as a substitute for lemon seasoning, the refreshing lemon flavor of lemon balm can best increase appetite, but it does not have the sourness of lemon. 2. Drug-absorbing grass absorbs toxic and harmful gases in indoor air, such as formaldehyde, radon, benzene, ammonia, sulfur dioxide, as well as smoke, odor, and carbon dioxide. It releases negative ions quickly and disinfects and sterilizes. Place a large pot every 10 to 15 square meters, and a small pot every 8 square meters. Daily Applications

1. To prevent measles: add 2 jin of whole Achnatherum splendens to 2 jin of water and boil it into 1 jin. Take once a week, 100 ml each time.

2. Treatment of chyluria: Take 4 liang to 1 jin of Achnatherum splendens (including roots), wash and boil into soup (without adding oil or salt), take it all at once or divided into 3 times, take it for 1-3 months. 9 cases were observed. It was found that after taking the medicine, the chyluria changed as soon as 3-4 days, and at the latest it changed from thick to light, and from light to clear after 45 days. The patients were finally cured. After 9-30 months of observation, no recurrence was observed.

3. Treatment of postpartum bleeding: use 1 liang of fresh Achnatherum splendens, decoct in water and take in 2 doses, 1 dose per day. Three cases were treated and all were effective.

4. To treat eye cataracts: wash and dry any amount of Achnatherum splendens, grind it into powder, and grind it finely. Every night before going to bed, wash your eyes first. Pick out about half a meter of it and place it on both canthus of the eyes, even if it hurts.

5. Treatment of dysentery: Recipe 1, 100 grams of Achnatherum splendens. Decoction in water. Recipe 2: Burn the leaves of Achnatherum splendens and mix with honey soup for consumption.

6. Treatment of edema due to Yang syndrome: 50 grams of Achnatherum splendens root and 50 grams of Plantain. Decoction in water.

7. Treat metrorrhagia and menorrhagia: 50 grams of Achnatherum splendens and 50 grams of Polygonum multiflorum. Decoction in water.
