There are also many common diseases that are diseases of the elderly.

Generally speaking, winter is the peak season for cerebrovascular diseases throughout the year. Because of the cold weather, the contraction of human blood vessels will cause a sharp increase in the amount of blood circulating in the heart and brain, increase the heart load, and increase the resistance of cerebral circulation, which can easily lead to increased blood pressure. However, the temperature in spring is unstable, with sudden changes in temperature. Especially for the elderly with chronic diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, they should pay attention to sudden changes in temperature during this period.

How can middle-aged and elderly people avoid cerebral hemorrhage in their lives?

1. Life should be regular: The elderly can do some work within their capacity, but they should not overwork themselves.

2. Blood pressure must be controlled: Hypertension is a lifelong disease and requires lifelong medication. You cannot give up after a few days. Repeated rebounds in blood pressure can easily lead to blood vessel rupture and cerebral hemorrhage.

3. Maintain a good attitude: stay optimistic and avoid being too excited.

4. Pay attention to diet: pay attention to a low-fat, low-salt and low-sugar diet. Eat less animal brains and offal, and eat more vegetables, fruits, and soy products, with appropriate amounts of lean meat, fish, and eggs.

5. Prevent constipation: Dry and hard stools and straining during defecation not only increase abdominal pressure, but also blood pressure and intracranial pressure, which can easily rupture fragile small blood vessels and cause cerebral hemorrhage. To prevent constipation, eat more fiber-rich foods, do proper exercise and do abdominal self-massage before getting up in the morning, or use appropriate medications to effectively prevent and treat constipation.

6. Prevent fatigue: Do not overwork with physical and mental labor. Overload can induce cerebral hemorrhage.

7. Pay attention to weather changes: Cold days are a high-risk season for strokes. Blood vessels constrict and blood pressure easily rises. You should keep warm and allow your body to adapt to climate changes. You should also do some appropriate physical exercises according to your health condition, such as walking, doing radio gymnastics, etc., to promote blood circulation.

8. Move your left hand frequently: In daily life, use your left upper and lower limbs as much as possible, especially your left hand. This can reduce the burden on the left hemisphere of the brain and exercise the right hemisphere of the brain to strengthen the coordination function of the right hemisphere of the brain. Medical research shows that cerebral hemorrhage is most likely to occur in the right cerebral hemisphere where the blood vessels are more fragile. Therefore, the best way to prevent cerebral hemorrhage is to rotate two fitness balls with your left hand in the morning and evening to help develop the right cerebral hemisphere.

9. Pay close attention to changes in your body: Stroke will have some precursor symptoms, such as severe headache without cause, dizziness, fainting, sudden numbness, fatigue or temporary loss of vision, difficulty in language communication, etc. You should seek medical examination and treatment in time.
