How to stop nose bleeding

For some people, their noses bleed when they are lightly touched. So how should we stop the bleeding when our nose is bleeding? Let’s take a look at it below.

1. After your nose bleeds, gently insert a small cotton ball into your nostril and lift it up appropriately. Then gently press the bleeding area with cotton or toilet paper. This can usually relieve the nose bleeding immediately.

2. When your nose is bleeding profusely, you can lie down flat on the bed and raise the hand opposite the nostril where the nose is bleeding. At this time, the acupuncture points causing nosebleeds are blocked, which can temporarily stop the rapid outflow of nosebleeds. If the situation is serious, you should seek medical attention immediately after the bleeding is temporarily stopped.

3. When your nose is bleeding, you can take 30 grams of lotus root and reed root, mash them and boil them together. You can drink it directly after cooking, one bowl each time, three times a day, which can effectively stop bleeding.

4. After cleaning the nostrils with a cotton ball, dip a cotton swab in an appropriate amount of sesame oil and apply it to the bleeding nostril. Gently press the nostrils with the cotton ball and lie down to rest for a few minutes to cure nosebleeds.

5. Take out a fresh onion, squeeze out the juice and drip it on a cotton ball until the cotton ball is completely soaked, then put it in the nostril and keep it for 20 minutes. If there is no cotton ball, you can directly put the onion on top of the upturned nostril, squeeze out the onion juice and carefully drip it into the nostril, usually 3 drops are enough, then gently press the nostril with your hand to stop the bleeding.

6. If you have a nosebleed, immediately soak a towel with cold water and apply a light cold compress to control the bleeding. You can also use a small ice pack to gently press on both sides of the nose to stop the bleeding immediately.
