What do AIDS night sweats look like?

AIDS is a relatively serious disease. The most frightening thing about it is that it is so highly contagious. People who contract AIDS are very likely to die from it. At present, AIDS is still a very difficult disease to cure. So the question is, what are the symptoms of night sweats for AIDS patients?

In life, many friends often suffer from "night sweats", and they think it is caused by high temperature or thick quilts. However, if you turn on the air conditioner and the quilt is not very thick,

Sweating profusely, in severe cases the sweat can soak pajamas and quilts, this is "night sweats".

So, why does the body sweat? Modern medicine believes that it may be caused by the following reasons:

1. Female menopause

During menopause, women experience endocrine disorders, abnormal changes in hormone levels in the body, and unstable vasomotor function, which lead to skin flushing, burning sensation, and night sweats. About 3/4 of menopausal women experience night sweats and other symptoms, which usually last for about 1 year, but can also last for more than 5 years.

2. Hypoglycemia

The main symptoms of hypoglycemia are sweating, pale face, trembling, and in severe cases coma. It is caused by sympathetic nerve excitement and brain cell hypoxia. If diabetic patients take insulin or hypoglycemic drugs before bedtime, they may experience hypoglycemia during sleep, resulting in "night sweats."

3. Hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism means that a large amount of thyroid hormone is released during the synthesis process of the thyroid gland, which accelerates the body's metabolism, causes sympathetic nerve excitement, and causes symptoms such as palpitations and sweating, and night sweats.

4. Severe tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease. Its early symptoms are not obvious, but in severe cases, it will cause night sweats. In severe cases, the clothes will be soaked and the patient will feel weak after waking up.

5. Early stage of HIV infection

In the early stages of HIV invasion, it causes sudden damage to the human immune system, so the infected person will experience sudden, short-term night sweats (a few days to about two weeks), accompanied by low fever, headache, cough, diarrhea and other symptoms.
