Ziyun

Clinical manifestations: Spleen deficiency and dysfunction, water and dampness overflowing, liver yang disturbing the clear orifices, with common symptoms of pregnancy dizziness, heaviness of the head, chest tightness and irritability, nausea, vomiting, puffy face and limb swelling, fatigue and drowsiness, white and greasy tongue coating, and a wiry and slippery pulse in the middle and late stages of pregnancy.

Treatment method: Strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, calm the liver and suppress yang.

Commonly used prescriptions: Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction plus Uncaria rhynchophylla, Salvia miltiorrhiza, and Vitex rotundus.

Commonly used Chinese medicines: Pinellia ternata, Atractylodes macrocephala, Gastrodia elata, Poria cocos, Tangerine peel, Licorice, Ginger, Jujube, and Vitex rotundus.
