How is viral herpes contracted? What are the routes of transmission?

Due to the high contagiousness and high recurrence of herpes, we should be more careful when we encounter it in life. So, how is viral herpes transmitted?

What are the transmission routes of viral herpes and what should we pay attention to?

Viral herpes is mainly divided into viral herpes zoster and viral herpes simplex. Herpes simplex is a skin disease caused by the herpes simplex virus, which tends to invade the junction of the skin and mucous membranes. It manifests as localized clustered blisters. Herpes zoster is an acute viral skin disease caused by the herpes virus, with the main characteristics of densely distributed small blisters along one side of the peripheral nerve, neuralgia, and local lymphadenopathy. Herpes virus is spread in three ways:

1. Through unclean needles, blood, and unclean sexual intercourse.

2. Transmission through sharing personal hygiene products with patients.

3. Through the mother's blood or breastfeeding during the nursing period. Viral herpes often causes papules ranging in size from millet to soybean in the genital area, which then turn into blisters and form pustules after 5 days. After breaking, they form erosions, ulcers, and scabs, accompanied by pain and other symptoms. On the other hand, patients must pay attention to timely treatment, and must rest more, eat easily digestible food and drink plenty of water in normal times; prevent secondary bacterial infection. Do not rub the affected area to avoid rupture of blisters. You can use Chinese herbal medicine or Levnul wet compresses to promote the drying and scabbing of blisters.

In daily life, you should pay attention to the following: avoid alcohol, seafood, and spicy food. Eat more foods rich in vitamins, such as fresh fruits and vegetables. Eliminate mental stress factors, avoid excessive fatigue, and pay attention to rest. Therefore, we must develop good living habits in daily life and actively take preventive and care measures. In addition, it is recommended that patients who are treating herpes can also consult a doctor for medication to stay further away from the torture of herpes.

Warm reminder: In daily life, people should strengthen physical exercise to enhance disease resistance; combine work and rest and avoid overwork; pay attention to personal hygiene and take frequent baths; be in a good mood and have a balanced diet, so as to enhance the body's disease resistance and avoid giving the varicella-zoster virus an opportunity to take advantage.
