What is internal injury? You can learn about it from both traditional Chinese medicine and ancient times.

Internal injuries and external injuries are two completely different concepts. Generally speaking, when people understand internal injuries, they can analyze them from the perspectives of traditional Chinese medicine and ancient times.

The concept of internal injury in traditional Chinese medicine:

1. Refers to the pathogenic factors that damage the internal organs, such as emotional disorder, hunger or fullness, excessive sexual intercourse, etc.

2. The name of the disease, also known as internal injury, is mostly caused by severe external injuries such as falls, collisions, forceful weightlifting, rotational sprains, etc., which damage the internal tissues and internal organs of the limbs. Generally, there are damage to qi, damage to blood, and damage to internal organs.

a. If the swelling of the injured area is not obvious and the pain is not fixed in a certain place, it means that the Qi is injured and can be treated with Fuyuan Tongqi Powder with modifications;

b. The wound site is painful, the skin is red or purple, and there is even bleeding, fever, chills, blood in the stool, blood in the urine, hemoptysis, etc. This is a blood injury, which can be treated with Puhuang San plus or minus;

c. Severe pain in the chest, flank or abdomen, accompanied by fainting, vomiting blood, bloody stool, etc. indicates damage to the internal organs, and can be treated with Puhuang Powder or Taoren Chengqi Decoction with modifications.

The ancients said internal injuries:

There are many discussions on internal injuries, and various books can summarize them all with the seven emotions. Excessive joy hurts the heart, excessive anger hurts the liver, fear hurts the kidneys, worry hurts the spleen, and sadness hurts the lungs. This is based on the nature of the five internal organs. But I just put it all into one heart. The heart is the master of the spirit. All our sight, hearing, speech, movement, and the five labors are inspired by the heart. If a person's mind is calm, joy and anger cannot control his spirit, worry and anxiety cannot take control of him, and the heart yang will not be damaged.
