Women, stop exposing yourself, as this is where the cold and dampness will enter your body

“A thousand kinds of cold are easy to get rid of, but one kind of dampness is hard to get rid of. Dampness is sticky and turbid, like oil entering the body.” It describes the excessive moisture in the human body, which can make people lose their spirits and thus affect the functioning of the body. So where does the cold and dampness come from?

What will happen to the body if cold and dampness are severe?

1. The body becomes heavy - people feel sleepy, depressed and lack energy.

2. The body is cold - the limbs are cold, and the face is gray, blue, or purple.

3. The body is moldy, and various skin diseases are common.

4. The body is overgrown with bacteria - various bacteria and viruses are very easy to be infected.

5. The body is rotting - various inflammations and ulcers do not heal for a long time.

6. The body's blood vessels become thinner when exposed to cold - arteriosclerosis, ischemia and dysfunction of various organs.

7. The body's meridians contract and become blocked when exposed to cold, leading to cysts and tumors.

Where does cold and dampness come from?

1. Dazhui Point on the Shoulder and Neck

The "cold and damp air" that enters from the "Dazhui point" can easily cause "shoulder and neck pain, frozen shoulder, cervical spondylosis, dizziness, headache, insomnia and dreaminess;

2. Tanzhong Point on the Chest

The "cold and damp air" that enters from the "Tanzhong acupoint" can easily cause "breast swelling and pain, breast duct obstruction, lobular hyperplasia, breast fibroids and other symptoms";

3. Shenque Point at the Navel

The "cold and dampness" that enters from the "Shenque Point" is easy to accumulate in our pelvic cavity, especially in women. When the "cold and dampness" in the pelvic cavity is heavy, it is easy to cause various gynecological diseases, such as: gynecological inflammation, irregular menstruation, menstrual blood flow, dysmenorrhea, blood clots, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, infertility, etc.;

In fact, we can use an example to illustrate, which may be easier to understand. If we put a piece of wood in a "dark and humid" place, the wood will easily deteriorate, mold, grow mushrooms, etc.

If a woman's uterus and ovaries are left in such a "cold and damp" pelvic environment for a long time, she will be prone to various gynecological diseases, so the woman's pelvic cavity must be well protected.

4. The "Mingmen Point" on the Waist

5. Yongquan Point on the Sole of the Foot

The "cold and damp air" that enters from the "Yongquan Point" tends to flow upwards, easily causing symptoms such as joint pain, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

Fenglong Point

Feng Long originally refers to the god of thunder in ancient mythology. Fenglong acupoint, as the name suggests, is named using the onomatopeia of "Fenglong" to expel the turbidity and dampness in the spleen and stomach like thunder and rain. Therefore, rubbing this point more often during the rainy season is very effective in strengthening the spleen and removing dampness.

It is 8 inches above the lateral malleolus, 1.5 inches lateral to the anterior edge of the tibia, and between the tibia and fibula. Generally twice a day, 3 minutes each time.

Zhongwan Point

Zhongwan point can harmonize the stomach and strengthen the spleen, promoting the function of the spleen and stomach. When locating the acupoint, you can lie on your back. The midpoint of the line connecting the lower end of the sternum and the navel is the acupoint. We can rub the acupoint with the fingertips or the base of the palm for 2 to 5 minutes, or we can use the palm or four fingers to massage Zhongwan for 5 to 10 minutes.

Yinlingquan

Yinlingquan is the He point of the spleen meridian. The spleen meridian qi that starts from the toes goes deep inside here, which can strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness. It is located below the knee, along the inner side of the calf bone, and the depression when it turns inward is the Yinlingquan. Just massage this area with your fingers for more than 10 minutes every day.
