The weather is hot in the summer, and many people are prone to catching colds because they stay in low-temperature air-conditioned rooms for a long time, or enter a low-temperature air-conditioned room immediately after sweating profusely. The most common symptom of a cold is a headache, which often makes people feel very painful when it occurs. So what are the ways to treat colds and headaches?

1. Hot compress

1: When you have a cold and a headache, put a clean towel in a basin, soak it with appropriate amount of hot water, wring out the water, fold it flat and press it on the patient's eyes, nose, or Fengchi acupoints on the head and neck to relieve symptoms.

2. Massage Method

1: Possible massage methods: Five Elements Combined Operation Method for the Head, [divide the middle into five lines] and press from front to back. Rub [Baihui] [Taiyang] [Fengchi] [Fengfu], press 100 times each, push the back from top to bottom. Press once, and the effect will be seen immediately.

3. Drink with sugar ginger tea

1: As colds are mostly caused by external wind and cold, they often cause symptoms such as headache, nasal congestion, runny nose, joint pain, and even fear of cold and fever. You can use appropriate amounts of brown sugar, ginger, and black tea, boil them into soup and drink it 1-2 times a day. It not only warms the body and removes cold, but also has good prevention and treatment functions for colds.

Four: Radish

1: Practice has shown that the carotene in radish has a unique effect on preventing and treating colds. The specific method is to chop the sweet, crisp and juicy radish into pieces, squeeze out half a cup of juice, then mash the ginger, squeeze out a small amount of ginger juice, add it to the radish juice, then add sugar or honey, mix well and pour in boiling water to drink as a beverage, three times a day for two consecutive days, which can clear away heat, detoxify, dispel cold, and prevent colds.

5. Eat less salt

1: Experiments have shown that eating less sodium-containing salt can increase the lysozyme content in saliva, protect the epithelial cells of the oral and throat mucosa, and allow them to secrete more immunoglobulin A and interferon to fight the cold virus. Therefore, controlling daily salt intake to less than 5 grams is very beneficial for preventing and treating colds.

6. Musk Pain Relief Cream

1: Use musk analgesic ointment or musk wind-chasing ointment (you can also use injury and dampness analgesic ointment) to treat various colds. Method: Take two 5×5 cm musk ointment, and a small amount of powder from the quick-acting cold capsule, evenly sprinkle it on the plaster, and stick it on the Yongquan acupoints on the soles of both feet respectively. Change it once a day and massage for 2 to 3 minutes. Generally, a cold can be relieved or cured in 1 to 3 days.

7: Generally speaking, summer colds and headaches are not

It's not a serious matter, it's just the symptoms of a cold, so there's no need to worry too much. Some friends take cold medicine to quickly relieve headaches. In fact, taking cold medicine can relieve symptoms such as headaches, but taking cold medicine for a long time is not good for the body and will also reduce the body's resistance.
