The main symptoms of hemorrhoids

Speaking of hemorrhoids, this is a very common disease and it is also very common in life. There are really many people who have hemorrhoid problems. Bloody hemorrhoids are also a type of anal hemorrhoids, that is, internal hemorrhoids accompanied by obvious symptoms of blood in the stool. People with hemorrhoids are also in great pain, especially after defecation or strenuous exercise, there will be lumps in the anus, which especially affects daily life. So what is different about blood hemorrhoids? Let's take a look at the main symptoms of blood hemorrhoids.

First, once symptoms such as anal distension and bloody stool appear, you should immediately seek diagnosis and treatment from an experienced anorectal doctor, so as not to lose sight of the big picture and delay the treatment.

Second, patients with hypertension, arteriosclerosis, cirrhosis of the liver, heart disease, abdominal tumors and other conditions that are likely to induce hemorrhoids should take effective measures to receive timely treatment to avoid making the illness worse.

Third, pay attention to dietary adjustment. The first thing anorectal doctors warn patients after hemorrhoid surgery is not to drink alcohol. Whether it is rice wine, white wine, or beer, they are all taboos. Spicy foods, such as mustard, chili peppers, hot sauce, ginger, onions, garlic, fennel, etc., have a great impact on the congestion and bleeding of hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoid patients should eat less or try not to eat them.

Patients after hemorrhoid surgery should eat light food, eat less greasy or smoked food, and eat at regular times and in fixed quantities; eat until 80% full, do not overeat, or have uneven hunger and fullness to prevent gastrointestinal dysfunction.

Fourth, develop good bowel habits and keep bowel movements smooth. The stool is constipated, dry and hard, and the patient has to strain during defecation, which causes a rapid increase in abdominal pressure. The venous plexus is thus bent and expanded, often resulting in rupture of hemorrhoids, laceration of the anal skin, bloody stools and pain. Patients with constipation should avoid exerting excessive force when going to the toilet and should take medicine to clear the intestines and relieve constipation in time. On the other hand, diarrhea should also be prevented. Having bowel movements multiple times a day, even if the stools are loose and thin, can damage hemorrhoids. At the same time, the time for defecation should not be too long, and the bad habit of reading books or newspapers while defecation should be changed. It is best to clean the anus with warm salt water after defecation to improve local blood circulation. In addition, to prevent hemorrhoids, it is recommended to sit in a bucket to defecate, because the squatting posture can easily induce hemorrhoids and even rectal prolapse.

Fifth, do proper exercise and pay attention to changing your body position. This is also an important way to prevent the recurrence of hemorrhoids. In addition to doing exercises and boxing and other systemic physical exercises, you also need to strengthen local functional exercises, such as anal contraction exercises, also known as "ani lifting", which is to self-adjust the sphincter, contract and relax the anus, one contraction and one release, fifty times each time, about three minutes, once or twice a day. You can do it standing, sitting, or lying down, anytime and anywhere. As long as others can't see it, it's enough to feel good about yourself. If you persist in doing it for a long time, it will be very helpful in preventing recurrence. For people who work in a sitting, standing or squatting position for a long time, it is best to stand up and walk around after sitting or squatting for a long time, and move around and take a break after standing for a long time, striving to achieve a proper balance between work and rest, and appropriate movement and stillness.
