The function of Ren Meridian: The Yin Meridian regulates the Qi and blood of the Yin Meridian and is the "sea of Yin Meridians"!

The Ren Meridian starts from the uterus in the lower abdomen, goes down from the perineum, passes through the mons pubis, and goes up along the midline of the abdomen through the Guanyuan and other acupoints to reach the throat (Tiantu acupoint), then goes up to the inside of the lower lip, branches to the left and right, surrounds the lips, and intersects at the Yinjiao acupoint of the Du Meridian. So what are the functions of the Ren Meridian?

Physiological functions:

(1) It regulates the Yin meridians of the body and is the "sea of Yin meridians":

The Ren meridian runs through the middle of the abdomen, and the abdomen is yin, which means that the Ren meridian has the function of overall control and management of the yin meridians of the body.

In addition, the three Yin meridians of the foot intersect with the Ren meridian in the lower abdomen, and the three Yin meridians of the hand communicate with the Ren meridian through the three Yin meridians of the foot. Therefore, the Ren meridian has a regulating effect on the Qi and blood of the Yin meridians, hence the saying "Ren controls all Yin meridians".

(2) Regulate menstruation and nourish the fetus:

The Ren meridian originates in the uterus and has the function of regulating menstruation and promoting female reproductive function, hence the saying that "Ren governs the fetus".

Functions of Ren Meridian:

This meridian treats: local diseases of the abdomen, chest, neck, head and face, and corresponding diseases of the internal organs. A few acupoints have a strengthening effect or can treat mental illness. Such as hernia, leucorrhea, abdominal lumps and other symptoms.

The Ren Meridian starts in the uterus, runs in front of the body, and ascends along the midline. It has a regulating effect on the Qi and blood of the Yin meridians and is known as the "Sea of Yin Meridians." If the Ren meridian is blocked, amenorrhea will occur; if the Ren meridian is blocked, qi and blood will be malnourished, resulting in uterine coldness and infertility, and white vaginal discharge; if qi stagnates and accumulates, there will be lumps in the lower abdomen, distension and pain, and wandering pain; if the Ren meridian is blocked and qi in the liver meridian is stagnant, there will be testicular swelling and pain, and hernia. "Ren Zhu Baotai" can regulate menstruation, promote women's reproductive function and maintain pregnancy. If the Ren meridian is weak and cannot nourish the fetus, the fetus will be restless, the lower abdomen will feel heavy and bloated, there will be vaginal bleeding, or even miscarriage. If the Ren meridian is weak, it will not be able to regulate menstruation, resulting in delayed menstruation or amenorrhea, or prolonged spotting. If the Ren meridian is weak and Qi and blood are not nourished, then dizziness, blurred vision, soreness of the waist and knees, pale tongue, and thin and weak pulse are also signs of weakness.
