Which acupuncture point is used to treat floaters?

In traditional Chinese medicine treatment, acupoint massage sometimes plays a relatively good therapeutic role. There are many acupoints in the human body, and each acupoint has its own management area, especially on the soles of the feet. Therefore, frequent acupoint massage in daily life can also play a good medical role. So the question is, which acupuncture point should be used to treat eye diseases such as floaters?

Jingming point. Jing refers to the location of the acupoint and the main target of the qi and blood in the acupoint is the eyes. Ming means bright acupoint. The name Jingming means that the eyes receive qi and blood from the bladder meridian and become bright. This point is the first point of the bladder meridian in the temple. Its qi and blood source is the ascending qi and blood of the bladder meridian in the body. It is the liquid transformed from the gaseous substance that absorbs heat and ascends through the bladder meridian in the body, that is, blood.

The blood from the bladder meridian is supplied to the eyes through this point. The eyes are able to see because of the blood and become bright and clear, hence the name Jingming. The main diseases treated by Jingming point are: tearing in the wind, migraine, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, eye fatigue, eye diseases, trigeminal neuralgia, myopia, etc.

This point is also one of the commonly used acupoints for treating eye diseases. Especially for people who use their eyes frequently, they should master the method of finding this point skillfully and accurately. Just a simple massage for one or two minutes can significantly relieve eye fatigue. For students, it is one of the rare acupoints for preventing myopia. In addition, there are other important eye acupoints such as Zanzhu point, Sibai point, Taiyang point, Chengqi point, Yuyao point, etc. If they are used together, the effect will be better. The Jingming point is located on the face, in the depression slightly above the inner canthus of the eye.
