What acupoints can nourish the kidney? Shenshu acupoint strengthens kidney qi

Many people think that if they want to nourish the kidneys, they should eat more kidney-nourishing health products, but in fact this can easily cause other adverse effects on the body. You can nourish the kidneys by massaging some acupoints. Pressing the Shenshu point or Chengfu point can help nourish the kidneys.

1. Shenshu point: strengthen kidney qi

Shenshu point is the main acupuncture point of the kidney meridian. Regular pressing of it can strengthen kidney qi and enhance kidney function, and it is especially helpful for irregular menstruation and sexual frigidity. Therefore, women with irregular menstruation may try massaging the Shenshu point to relieve the trouble of irregular menstruation.

The location of Shenshu point is at the same level as Mingmen point, that is, 1.5 inches away from the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra in the waist, one on each side.

Principle: The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian starts at the inner corner of the eye, goes up to the zygomatic region, and intersects at the top of the head. A branch vein branches out from the top of the head to the upper corner of the ear. Its main trunk (straight meridian) enters from the top of the head and connects with the brain, exits from the neck, enters the scapula and divides into two branches that descend downward. Main meridian 1 runs along the inner side of the scapula and descends along the spine to the middle of the waist, enters the muscles along the spine and connects with the kidneys and the bladder. Two branches are separated from the waist, passing along the spine, through the buttocks and into the popliteal fossa. Main meridian 2 runs from the inner side of the scapula over the scapula to the hip joint, descends along the posterior and lateral side of the thigh and joins branch meridian 2 at the popliteal fossa, passes through the gastrocnemius muscle and exits the posterior side of the lateral malleolus, along the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone to the outer side of the little toe, and connects to the foot Shaoyin kidney meridian.

2. Chengfu Point: Strengthens vaginal contraction

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the nerves that control the reproductive organs pass through Chengfu point. Regularly pressing the Chengfu point can strengthen the contraction of the vagina and increase sexual sensitivity. Therefore, regular massage and stimulation of the Chengfu acupoint can treat sexual frigidity.

Location: Below the center of the horizontal line on the buttocks, located at the center point of the gluteal groove under the left and right buttocks. This is where the erogenous zones are most densely populated, so you can apply more force when applying acupressure.

3. Zhongfu point: opens the lung meridian and treats abdominal distension

Zhongfu point is a major acupoint on the lung meridian and an important acupoint for regulating internal breath. Regular massage can unblock the meridians of the lungs, help enlarge the breasts, strengthen lymphatic circulation, and relieve chest tightness, shoulder and back pain. It can also treat diseases of the spleen and lungs, and treat qi deficiency, abdominal distension, indigestion, edema, etc. For female friends with poor gastrointestinal function, you may want to spend ten minutes every day massaging the Zhongfu point.

Location: Where is the Zhongfu point in the body? Stand straight with your hands on your hips, and you can touch the triangular fossa at the lower end of the outer side of the clavicle with your hand. The center of that place is the Yunmen point. The Zhongfu point is located when you push down one rib vertically from the center of this fossa.

Principle: The hand Taiyin lung meridian starts from the middle burner, goes down to connect with the large intestine, turns back, passes the diaphragm along the upper opening of the stomach, belongs to the lung, and goes horizontally downward from the "lung system", in front of the hand Shaoyin heart meridian and the hand Jueyin pericardium meridian, goes down along the front side of the upper arm to the transverse line of the elbow, enters the Cunkou along the radial edge of the front side of the forearm, passes the thenar eminence, and exits the inner end of the thumb along the edge of the thenar eminence.
