If spleen pain occurs, it is important to first identify the cause and then treat it. For example, common hepatitis and jaundice may cause these symptoms, or accumulation of lumps in the abdomen may also cause these adverse symptoms. 1. Hepatobiliary diseases Spleen pain is a disease with pain in one or both sides of the ribs as the main symptom, and its properties include distending pain, dull pain, burning pain, heaviness, stringy pain, and stabbing pain. As early as in the "Inner Canon of Medicine", there were records about flank pain, which clearly pointed out that the occurrence of flank pain is mainly due to liver and gallbladder diseases. Because the liver is located under the flank, its meridians are distributed on both sides of the flank, the gallbladder is attached to the liver, and the basal meridian also runs through the flank. Therefore, the occurrence of flank pain is mainly attributed to the liver and gallbladder. Its main causes and pathogenesis are liver qi stagnation, blood stasis, liver and gallbladder damp-heat, and liver yin deficiency. The nature, degree and duration of flank pain often vary greatly due to different pathogenesis. Side pain is almost a common symptom of liver diseases such as hepatitis and cirrhosis. 2. Jaundice: Jaundice is a disease characterized by yellow body, yellow eyes and yellow urine, with yellow eyes being the main feature of the disease. Clinically, jaundice is mainly divided into three categories: yang jaundice, yin jaundice, acute jaundice or plague jaundice. These three types of jaundice have great differences in clinical manifestations, etiology and pathogenesis, and clinical medication. Although the causes and pathogenesis of jaundice include invasion of external pathogens, epidemic infection, excessive drinking, and long-term accumulation, the ultimate cause of jaundice is abnormal bile transport and excretion, which overflows onto the skin. Jaundice is an important sign of many liver diseases in modern medicine. 3. Accumulation: Accumulation is a symptom of lumps, bloating or pain in the abdomen. Accumulation and gathering, one is tangible, the other is intangible, one is in the blood, the other is in the qi, one belongs to the internal organs, the other belongs to the bowels. As for liver diseases, most of them are tangible masses, such as the common clinical hepatosplenomegaly. Its etiology and pathogenesis are mainly emotional disorders, excessive drinking and eating, cold and dampness invasion, etc. Its basic pathological changes are qi stagnation and blood stasis or phlegm stagnation and qi stagnation. It is often seen in patients with chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, portal hypertension and hypersplenism. It is best to go to the hospital for a comprehensive examination. |
