What to do if you have internal heat and bad breath?

People with bad breath, like people with body odor, will have a huge impact on their lives and may even be disliked by others. There are actually some reasons for bad breath. It is not only related to one's own living habits, but also to the choice of food in life. And from a medical point of view, bad breath may also be caused by some diseases. So the question is, what to do about internal heat and bad breath?

What to do about bad breath

One is to drink chrysanthemum tea

Chrysanthemum is a relatively common flower. Drying chrysanthemums and making tea with them can effectively treat bad breath. Because chrysanthemum can clear the liver and improve eyesight, detoxify and reduce inflammation, it can relieve bad breath caused by liver disease.

Second, use the boiled rice water to rinse your mouth.

Rice water has certain anti-inflammatory, bactericidal and cleaning effects, and can relieve bad breath caused by dirty mouth.

Third, two grams of cloves, held in the mouth several times, can also relieve bad breath.

Chewing cloves can relieve bad breath caused by increased stomach fire or periodontitis.

But it is worth noting that bad breath has many causes, such as caries, periodontal disease, gastrointestinal disease, etc. The above methods can only reduce bad breath, but cannot fundamentally solve the problem of bad breath. Moreover, chrysanthemum is cool in nature, so it is not suitable for patients with weak constitution, spleen deficiency, cold stomach, and those who are prone to diarrhea; cloves are pungent and warm in nature, so they are not suitable for people with fever and yin deficiency and internal heat. Therefore, it is recommended that people who have long-term bad breath should first find the cause of the bad breath and then treat it symptomatically.

What to eat for bad breath

1. Kumquat

Kumquat is a relatively common fruit and is very effective for treating bad breath accompanied by chest tightness and food stagnation. Take 5 to 6 fresh kumquats, wash them and chew them. Kumquat has the effects of aromatic opening of the orifices, removing bad breath, relieving qi and strengthening the spleen. It is a better dietary treatment for bad breath.

2. Celery

This herb helps eliminate bad breath odors, especially smoke odors. If you can't find celery on hand, coriander and mint can also help remove bad breath. For best results, chew these as long as possible or make tea out of them. This is also one of the dietary treatments for bad breath.

3. Honey
