How to deal with festering wounds? This is how you take care of your wounds

It is very painful when the wound becomes festering. If the symptoms of the wound becoming festering are mild, generally speaking, you should pay attention to wound care and appropriately apply anti-inflammatory treatment to the wound. At the same time, pay attention to bandaging the wound. Generally, it will heal quickly. But if the condition is more serious, it is best to go to the hospital to see a doctor first.

If the wound is severely festering, it is necessary to drain the wound to ensure that the pus flows out of the wound in time. At the same time, the wound should be cleaned every day to ensure a good wound healing environment.

If ulcers or tissue necrosis occur at the wound site, the wound needs to be cleaned in time to prevent the ulcers and necrosis from getting worse. After cleaning, you can use auxiliary treatment such as wound-closing prescriptions and other drugs with the effect of removing toxins and promoting tissue regeneration to promote wound healing.

During the period when the wound is festering, you should pay attention to protecting the wound, maintaining a good attitude and eating properly, so that you can recover soon.

You can add ginger and salt to boiling water, wrap the festering wound with gauze, and steam the wound in boiling water with salt until the water becomes no longer hot. This method is the simplest steam method, which is clean and convenient and usually lasts about 5 minutes.

For some patients with more serious wound suppuration, long-term infection may cause tissue necrosis. For this type of wound suppuration, we need to first clean the patient's necrotic tissue to avoid worsening of the wound infection. After cleaning the pus, use saline solution to clean the wound and use drugs that can quickly repair the wound for treatment.

If you can feel water waves inside the wound, then the suppuration is very serious and you must go to the hospital to cut the wound open, release the pus inside and then disinfect it. If your wound only has some redness around it, then you don't have to worry, as this is a sign that the wound is about to heal.
