Is it good to get a blocking injection for tenosynovitis? Treatment for tenosynovitis

Many patients with tenosynovitis will receive blocking injections, but this is only a temporary solution and does not address the root cause. Although the pain is stopped, the condition is still not well treated and can still cause harm to the body. You can choose traditional Chinese medicine for treatment, especially some folk remedies for treating tenosynovitis, which are very effective.

It is not recommended to inject a blockade to treat tenosynovitis. Please try the following folk remedies according to your condition:

(a) Vinegar therapy,

Boil vinegar and soak the affected area. The pain will go away in about two days.

(II) Cactus patch method

Select an ornamental cactus that is slightly larger than the area of ​​the tenosynovitis lesion, remove the burrs, and then scrape off the epidermis on one side. Apply the side with the epidermis removed to the affected area and fix it with medical tape. Replace the cactus with fresh one every other day. Generally, after changing it three times, the lump will disappear automatically.

3. Diclofen therapy

Take diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules orally, one capsule per day as instructed; apply diclofenac diethylamine gel externally. The effect is amazing.

(IV) Chinese Dieda Pills Therapy

Soak one Zhonghua Dieda Pill in 20 ml of 95% alcohol and apply to the affected area several times a day

(V) Liquor therapy

Put one or two ounces of 60-proof liquor in a small bowl and light it. While it's on fire, apply the liquor to the affected area with your hands and massage vigorously. A few times will heal. There are no side effects and you can do it several times.

6. Raw Gardenia Therapy

10 grams of raw gardenia, 30 grams of raw gypsum, 9 grams of peach kernel, 12 grams of safflower, and 6 grams of earthworm. Grind them into powder, soak them with 75% alcohol, and after 1 hour, add appropriate amount of castor oil to make a paste for later use. When using, apply this ointment to gauze and apply it to the affected area, fix it with adhesive tape, and change the dressing once every other day. Generally, 1 to 2 times can produce significant therapeutic effects.

(VII) Bone-penetrating fumigation solution

Prescription: Boil water until 2000-3000 ml, pour into a wash basin, place the affected part on the basin mouth, cover it with wool and steam and wash it for 30 minutes each time, twice a day. Fix it with a bandage and tile-shaped cardboard after washing.

Preparation and usage: 15g each of cinnamon twig and perilla leaf, 88g each of ephedra and safflower, 20g of smilax glabra and 30g each of fresh mulberry branch

(VIII) Compound Sichuan Aconite Liquid

Prescription: Add the above medicines to 3500 ml of water and boil. After boiling, boil for another 15-20 minutes. Then pour the above medicine liquid into a basin, fumigate first and then soak, 30 minutes each time, twice a day. You can also put the above medicine into a cloth bag, put it into a pot with a small amount of water and boil it. After 15 minutes of boiling, take out the cloth bag and place it on the affected area for hot compress when it is warm. You can use gauze to wash the affected area with the medicine liquid, 3 times a day, each time for 15-20 minutes. One course of treatment is 5 doses.

Preparation and usage: 20g each of Chuanwu and Caowu, 30g of Chuanxiong, 30g of Chuanduan, 30g of Angelica, 20g of Artemisia argyi, 30g of Lycopodiella cuneata, 20g of Mentha, 30g of Clematis, 30g of Sinomenium.

1. Rest and reduce or avoid any movements that may cause pain; apply local massage and hot compress. It is effective for first-time attacks and short-term illnesses.

2. Oral anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs take a long time to take effect, and some people may experience gastrointestinal irritation symptoms.

3. Local blockade treatment usually takes effect in a short period of time.

4. Combination treatment of the first three methods has a quick onset, better results and a lower possibility of recurrence.

5. If the attack is stubborn, surgical treatment may be considered.

Special reminder: Even if the symptoms completely disappear after conservative treatment such as medication or blockade, they may still recur if you do not pay attention in your daily life. Therefore, it is still necessary to reduce related movements that can cause pain, and it is best to replace some habitual movements in daily life that cause pain.
