Bronchiectasis can cause repeated hemoptysis symptoms and can also pose a threat to life. When treating hemoptysis caused by bronchiectasis, you can choose some hemostatic drugs. If the situation is serious, timely surgical treatment is required. Eat more lily and loquat paste and tiger buckwheat soup in daily life. 1. Treatment of hemoptysis due to bronchiectasis Hemoptysis is a common symptom of bronchiectasis and a major life-threatening condition. Hemoptysis often has no clear cause and is not necessarily associated with other symptoms such as fever and coughing up pus and sputum. Small amounts of hemoptysis can usually be stopped by rest, sedatives, and hemostatics. Bronchial artery embolization can be performed for massive hemoptysis. Check with bronchoscope (hard endoscope is preferred), inject ice water locally, and block with thin gauze or Fogarty tube. 2. Diet and Health Care Lily loquat paste: 3000 grams of fresh lily, 1000 grams of loquat (peeled and cored), 300 grams of honey. Wash the lilies, put them in a pot with loquats and honey, add water and mix well. Simmer over low heat until crisp, then stir-fry over low heat until it is no longer sticky, take out and cool. Take 2 tablespoons twice a day, washed down with boiled water. This prescription is suitable for people with cough, bright red hemoptysis, dry mouth and throat. Tremella and fresh lotus root porridge: 50 grams of white fungus, 500 grams of fresh lotus root (remove the nodes), and 50 grams of glutinous rice. Wash the lotus root and squeeze out its juice. Add white fungus and glutinous rice to water and cook porridge as usual. When the porridge is about to become thick, add the lotus root juice. When it is cooked, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar. This prescription is suitable for patients with bronchiectasis, hemoptysis, dry cough and little sputum. Tiger buckwheat soup: 250 grams of Polygonum cuspidatum, 100 grams of Fagopyrum serrata, and 1 pig lung. Add water to the above medicines and stew them, then remove the residue and take the soup with the lungs, 2 to 3 times a day, and each dose for 3 days. If pig lungs are not available, pork belly can be used instead. To consolidate the therapeutic effect, 200 grams of Polygonum cuspidatum and 900 grams of Fagopyrum scabra can be decocted in water and taken for 2 to 4 weeks. This prescription is mainly used for bronchial hemoptysis, and generally 2 to 3 doses can stop the bleeding. In case of acute attack, it is advisable to use anti-A drugs to fight infection. 3. Preventive Care Actively prevent and treat respiratory tract infections in infants and young children, and vaccinate children regularly; clear chronic lesions in the nasal cavity and pharynx; diagnose bronchial tuberculosis and lymph node tuberculosis early and treat them in time. Prevent tuberculous bronchiectasis and prevent aspiration. |
