Traditional Chinese medicine health care emphasizes 7 "timely" principles to stay healthy throughout life

Chinese medicine has always been extensive and profound, with a long history. Don’t think that TCM health care only requires mastering the methods. In fact, it also has its own health care rules! Let’s take a look at the rules that we should follow in maintaining health through traditional Chinese medicine!

The key to TCM health care lies in 7 "on time" principles

1. Take breaks on time

In life, many people rest only when they feel tired. In fact, it is too late to rest at this time. Because when people feel tired, the fatigue has reached a considerable level, and it takes a long time to rest to eliminate the fatigue. Excessive fatigue leaves hidden dangers for illness. Taking a break after working for a while and paying attention to the combination of work and rest will not only quickly eliminate fatigue, but also improve work and study efficiency, and the body's yin and yang qi and blood can also be adjusted and balanced.

2. Exercise regularly

In recent years, geriatric diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary heart disease and bone hyperplasia in my country have shown a trend of becoming younger, that is, the number of young and middle-aged patients is increasing, and the increase in young people with fatty liver is even more alarming. These are all related to their lack of exercise, overeating and excessive drinking. Therefore, young people should pay attention to their lifestyle and develop good habits of exercising. Exercising on time every day and developing a habit will greatly benefit your health.

3. Drink water on time

Feeling thirsty indicates that the body is seriously dehydrated and it is too late to replenish it. According to investigations and research, people who have the habit of drinking water regularly have significantly fewer cases of constipation and urinary stones than those who do not drink water regularly. Moreover, it also has a preventive effect on serious diseases such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Therefore, the elderly, people with arteriosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, blood viscosity, coronary heart disease and stroke, as well as pregnant women, teenagers and infants who have relatively more water needs, should develop the habit of drinking water regularly.

4. Go to the toilet on time

Many people go to the toilet only when they have a strong urge to defecate, and sometimes they don’t know when to defecate. Doing so is extremely harmful to your health. If urine and feces stay in the body for too long, it can easily cause constipation or damage the bladder due to overfilling. It may even cause toxic substances in the feces and urine to be reabsorbed by the human body, leading to "self-poisoning." Therefore, you should develop the habit of regular bowel movements, especially in the morning. Regular bowel movements can prevent and treat constipation, reduce the risk of colorectal cancer, and are also beneficial for patients with hemorrhoids.

5. Eat on time

There are some people in life who do not eat on time and do not eat unless they are hungry. This practice can easily damage the stomach and weaken the body's disease resistance. Because food only stays in the stomach for four to five hours, when people feel hungry, the stomach has already been emptied. The gastric mucosa will "self-digest" the gastric juice at this time, which can easily cause gastritis and peptic ulcers.

6. Go to bed on time

Many people won't go to bed unless they feel sleepy, mistakenly believing that sleepiness is a sign that they should go to bed. In fact, sleepiness is a sign of considerable brain fatigue, and you shouldn't wait until this time to go to bed. Developing a good habit of going to bed on time can not only protect your brain, but also make it easier to fall asleep, improve sleep quality and reduce insomnia.

7. Have a physical examination on time

During annual health checks, a considerable number of patients with serious diseases are often found, such as hepatitis, tuberculosis, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, etc. In fact, many diseases are difficult to detect early by self-perception alone. Only by going to the hospital for regular health checks can they be detected early and treated early. So, go to the hospital regularly.
