What causes cold hands and feet?

Many female friends often encounter the phenomenon of insufficient qi and blood, so they are prone to cold hands and feet in normal times, especially when the weather is cold, the most likely problem is cold hands and feet. What everyone must pay attention to is to nourish themselves and then check what the cause is.

When the weather gets cold, many people feel cold all over, especially their hands and feet. This condition is what Chinese medicine calls "yang deficiency", which is commonly known as "cold constitution" or "cold foundation". Western medicine may not be able to effectively improve it, but if Chinese medicine is used for long-term conditioning, this type of physical condition can be improved. Most people are not particularly afraid of cold. Clinically, the elderly, women, young children who are prone to colds, and people with allergies have a colder body and need to use medication and diet therapy to improve their physical condition. You can also use the principle of "cathode generates yang" and soak your cold limbs in cold water until you no longer feel the water is cold. Then get up, dry them, and put them in your bed or clothes pockets. They will warm up within a few minutes. The effect is quite fast.

These patients with yang deficiency often need to use tonic medicines. To replenish qi and nourish blood, they need deer antler, cinnamon, Korean ginseng, placenta, aconite, ginseng, Cistanche, Psoralea corylifolia, Cuscuta australis, Rehmannia glutinosa, angelica, donkey-hide gelatin, wolfberry, tortoise glue, etc. These are all commonly used medicinal materials. When decocting, they can be stewed with chicken, duck, mutton, eel, and wood louse for both nourishing and delicious effects.

The method of using medicinal wine to prepare it is also feasible for certain symptoms. For example, for patients with numbness in the limbs and frequent bone pain, Wu Shengxian suggested that you might as well use sorghum wine, rice wine, or rice wine head, cut the Chinese medicine into thin slices or grind it into coarse powder and put it in, at a ratio of eight to two, soak it in it, and it can be consumed in about two months. This type of medicinal wine can be consumed in small amounts twice a day.

In addition, if you have a weak spleen and stomach, you can boil various prescriptions first, remove the residue and let it become a paste. Then add rock sugar and dissolve it with warm water every night. Take one tablespoon of it just like taking loquat paste. This method is most suitable for people with weak spleen and stomach and poor digestion and absorption.
