The knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine is very profound. In clinical practice, the application of Chinese medicine and Western medicine are complementary. Dizziness is a symptom. The side effects of traditional Chinese medicine in treating dizziness and headaches are relatively small. There are many ways to treat dizziness and headaches, both external and internal prescriptions are acceptable. 1. Fumigation analgesia Use 15g of Chuanxiong, 30g of late silkworm feces, 20-30g of Bombyx batryticatus, and 15g of Angelica dahurica. Put all the medicines into a casserole, add 5 bowls of water, boil until 3 bowls of water remain, and seal the mouth of the casserole with thick paper. Usage: Depending on the size of the painful area, make a hole in the center of the covering paper, and let the patient align the painful area with the hole in the paper; for those with a full headache, align the head with the mouth of the casserole (close your eyes tightly or wrap them with a towel), cover the head with a large square towel, and fumigate with the hot air emitted by the medicine. Take 1 dose a day, use each dose twice, and fumigate for 10 to 15 minutes each time. Suitable for all kinds of headaches. 2. Medicine juice smear method Take 100g each of fresh ginger and green onion, wash them, put them in a porcelain bowl, add a little cold boiled water, mash them to extract the juice, use a cotton ball to dip the juice and apply it to the temples or forehead, or the area where the headache occurs. After application, you can tap the applied area with your fingers several times a day. 3. Chinese medicine nasal plugging method Take 15g of Chuanxiong, 9g of Angelica dahurica, 1g of Borneol, 3g of Asarum, and 6g of Notopterygium wilfordii, grind them into a very fine powder, and bottle them for later use. When using, take 3 to 6 grams of the powder according to the patient's age, put it on gauze and roll it into a strip. Plug it into the right nostril for left-sided headaches, plug it into the left nostril for right-sided headaches, and alternate between the left and right nostrils for all-sided headaches. 1 to 2 times a day for 5 to 7 days. 4. Plugged nose and sneezing method (1) Grind equal amounts of Saposhnikovia divaricata, Veratrum lucidum, and Trichosanthes kirilowii into powder. Take a small amount and use it to sneeze. This recipe is suitable for all types of headaches. (2) 1g of realgar (the best kind of realgar), 3g of saltpeter, 6g of Chuanxiong, 8g of Angelica dahurica, 2g each of frankincense and myrrh, grind them into fine powder, take a small amount and sneeze it in your nose, stop taking it when the pain stops. 5. Applying the stickers to the temples 9g each of Schizonepeta, Pangolin, Angelica dahurica, Mole Cricket, 3g each of Dried Scorpion (detoxified), Earthworm, Ginger Silkworm, 5g of Tooth Soap, grind into powder, add 1g of borneol, mix with honey, spread on the cloth and apply to both temples (apply at night and remove in the morning), once a day. This prescription was used by Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty when he had severe headaches. |
