Why do young people feel dizzy?

Young people who often feel dizzy need to be alert, because dizziness may be caused by various reasons. Only by understanding the real cause can the correct adjustment and solution be provided. Common dizziness includes brain-induced dizziness and cardiac-induced dizziness. Understand the cause and treat it symptomatically.

1. Cerebral dizziness. It is seen in cerebral blood circulation disorders caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis or cervical spondylosis, or the transient cerebral ischemia caused by them. Its clinical characteristics are three major symptoms: dizziness, sleep disorders, and memory loss, as well as occipital headache, mild paralysis, speech disorders, and emotional irritability. The disease generally develops slowly. The characteristic of this type of dizziness is that it is easy to occur or worsen when the body position changes.

2. Cardiac dizziness. It can be seen in acute cardiogenic cerebral ischemia syndrome, which is acute cerebral ischemia caused by cardiac arrest, paroxysmal tachycardia, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, and ventricular fibrillation, which can manifest as dizziness, blurred vision, stomach discomfort, syncope, etc.

3. Vascular inhibition dizziness. It is often triggered by emotional tension, pain, fear, bleeding, hot weather, fatigue, cavity, insomnia, etc. Patients often experience autonomic nervous system dysfunction such as dizziness, vertigo, nausea, upper abdominal discomfort, pale complexion, cold sweats, etc. At that time, blood pressure dropped and pulse was weak. Vasoinhibitory dizziness is more common in frail young women. Orthostatic hypotension refers to dizziness, blurred vision, weak legs, vertigo, and even syncope when standing, often accompanied by anorexia and urinary and bowel disorders.

4. Common symptoms include tightness in the neck, limited sensitivity, occasional pain, numbness, coldness, and heaviness in the fingers. Cervical spondylosis compresses the cervical vertebral artery, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the brain, which is the main cause of dizziness caused by this disease.

5. In the early stages of coronary heart disease, some people may experience headaches, dizziness, weakness in the limbs, and difficulty concentrating. The main cause of dizziness is atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries, which causes insufficient blood supply. The best solution to dizziness is still prevention. The elderly should regularly undergo blood pressure, heart sounds, heart rhythm, as well as routine blood tests, blood lipids, blood viscosity, electroencephalogram, cerebral blood flow diagram, neck X-ray and other examinations to prevent problems before they occur.
