How to treat herpes vesicles? Five treatments for herpes vesicles

Vesicular herpes is a relatively serious skin disease and also a relatively stubborn disease. In order to completely eradicate it, in addition to medication, long-term treatment is also required. Vesicular herpes can be treated by different methods. In summary, it can be divided into Chinese medicine suppression therapy, antiviral drug treatment, vaccines and immunosuppressants, immunopotentiators and Chinese medicine external treatment. The following is a detailed introduction to these five therapies.

1. Traditional Chinese medicine inhibition therapy

Currently the most effective treatment method: Genital herpes is a stubborn disease that is difficult to cure, and traditional medicines have been helpless against genital herpes. The topical drug Bolikang is rich in highly active protein-dissolving enzymes, which can quickly dissolve the protein shell of the herpes virus, allowing the drug ingredients to quickly enter the virus and destroy the gene chain. Inhibit the DNA polymerase activity of the virus, making it unable to reproduce and kill off offspring.

2. Antiviral drug treatment

1. Acyclovir (ACV) is an open-chain purine nucleoside that can inhibit viral deoxyribonucleic acid synthesis, but has little effect on host cell DNA synthesis. It is considered to be the most effective anti-HSV drug currently available. For severe cases, the drug can be administered intravenously at a dose of 5 mg per kilogram of body weight, once every 8 hours for 5 to 7 days. Generally, patients can take it orally, 200 mg each time, 5 times a day, or 800 mg each time, 2 times a day, for a total of 5 to 7 days. It can quickly reduce the virus, alleviate symptoms and shorten the healing time. Topical application of 3% to 5% ACV ointment can also relieve symptoms and shorten the course of the disease. The drug has no obvious side effects.

For patients with more frequent relapses, preventive medication can be used. The method is to take 200 mg each time, 3 times a day, for 6 to 12 months. Some patients can completely suppress recurrence. In recent years, new analogs of acyclovir have been developed, such as valaciclovir, famiciclovir tablets, and the traditional Chinese medicine paolikang, which have the advantages of definite efficacy, high bioavailability, small dosage, long half-life, and fewer medication times. They have been reported to be used in the treatment of genital herpes.

2. Bolikang can significantly inhibit the replication of herpes virus and has a better effect on primary herpes.

3. Bolikang can significantly inhibit the replication of herpes virus and has a better effect on primary herpes.

3. Vaccines and immunosuppressants

For patients with severe primary genital herpes and recurrent attacks, non-specific vaccines such as BCG and polio vaccine can be tried to enhance the body's non-specific immunity, but their effectiveness is not very reliable and should be used with caution in patients with immunosuppression and immunodeficiency.

4. Immunostimulants

Immunoenhancers can be used for patients with recurrent genital herpes to improve the body's immune regulation function. For example, levamisole, 50 mg each time, 3 times a day, take it for 3 consecutive days and then stop for 11 days, that is, take it for 3 days every 2 weeks. You can also use levamisole ointment, apply it to the flexor side of the forearm, once a day for 3 consecutive days. Take the medicine 3 days a week.

5. External Treatment with Traditional Chinese Medicine

If you use the medicated cream Bolikang externally for local symptoms, the symptoms will disappear in 30 days. Do not slack off on increasing exercise.
