What tests should be done for hepatic hemangioma?

Speaking of some vascular diseases, the main one is hepatic hemangioma. Generally speaking, what you should do after getting this disease is to get checked as soon as possible, do B-ultrasound and CT scans, and usually choose surgery or other methods for effective treatment based on the results of the scan.

1. B-mode ultrasound examination

In this examination, the results for tumors of different sizes are different. The lesion location will often show uneven or mixed retrospection, and even small blood vessels may be found directly entering the tumor from the liver tissue, or there may be a mixture of liquid areas of irregular shape and varying sizes.

2. CT scan examination

In the examination of hepatic hemangioma, low-density areas with uniform and consistent density will be found on the CT plain scan images. The boundaries of the diseased tissue are relatively clear, and some thrombi are organized to form fibroma-like structures. It can be combined with rapid injection of contrast agent to enhance imaging, and delayed scanning will reveal that the tumor has been completely filled and has changed from low density to high density.

3. Isotope inspection

In the examination of common hepatic hemangioma, the disease can be diagnosed by scanning it and angiography of the hepatic blood vessels. This method can greatly help the diagnosis of the disease, mainly manifested in the absence of tumor staining, clear and sharp edges of the lesion, and a longer development time of the hemangioma.

After confirming the diagnosis through common hepatic hemangioma examinations, it is hoped that the most reasonable treatment method will be selected during treatment, while avoiding misdiagnosis and causing unnecessary harm.
