What are the differences between autism and autism?

Many people are confused about autism and autism spectrum disorder. In fact, autism and autism spectrum disorder are not the same concept. Autism is a type of schizophrenia, while autism is a mental disorder that easily occurs in infancy. We must distinguish and understand these diseases and solve them accordingly.

1. Although autism and autism are the same word in the original text, they actually represent two different concepts: autism is a symptom of schizophrenia, and autism is a special mental disorder that occurs in infancy.

2. Autism This is one of Bleuler's four basic symptoms. Descriptively speaking, autism is a severe form of social withdrawal. E. Minkowski (1927) called it autism of poverty (autisme pauvre), meaning that if you could knock on the closed door of communication of a schizophrenic patient, you would find that his inner world was actually empty. The patient's social withdrawal is neither due to inferiority, anxiety, fear or depression (which is different from the social withdrawal of neurotic and depressive patients), nor is it usually a withdrawal into a fantasy world (fantasy autism is seen in the early stages of split personality and schizophrenia).

The so-called loneliness triad is:

(1) Loneliness. Unable to communicate and establish emotional relationships with others, no response to the care and caress of others, react the same way to relatives, strangers and inanimate objects, and avoid eye contact with people.

(2) Speech disorders. There are difficulties in learning and using language, or even almost no language. Related to this, there are also defects in non-verbal communication, lack of imitation ability, inability to play with toys, and seemingly no imagination.

(3) Stereotyped identity. The child tends to eat the same food, wear the same clothes, and engage in the same monotonous actions or games, and will express distress if these are changed.
