What is the difference between lice eggs and dandruff

Internet celebrity words, nothing in life can escape them, even dandruff is among them, and the names are so strange, I believe that most people don’t know about lice egg dandruff. In order to popularize various knowledge to everyone, the editor has worked very hard. So what are the differences between lice egg dandruff and ordinary dandruff? Today I will tell you where their essential differences are.

Lice eggs are oblong, white and shiny; they do not react when squeezed.

Dandruff, flaky, white, dull. There is a sound when it is squeezed and broken.

If there are a lot of white sticky dots on the hair shafts, many people will mistakenly think it is dandruff. If you gently pat and these white dot-like particles do not fall off the hair, you should be alert, because this is not dandruff, but perhaps the eggs laid by head lice.

Parasites that live in the human body are divided into two major categories: internal and external. Lice are parasites that live outside the body. Lice are divided into three categories according to the part of the body where they live: head lice, body lice and pubic lice. Head lice live at the roots of human hair; body lice live on chest hair, armpit hair, and in the seams of clothing; pubic lice mainly live in the genitals, using pubic hair as their nest, and are transmitted through sexual contact.

Although the three types of lice parasitize different parts of the body, these three parts are all places with dense hair. Therefore, lice use hair as their home and survival place. Without hair, lice will have nowhere to rely on.

Head lice are different from head mites. Head mites live in the hair follicles and sebaceous glands under the scalp, while the eggs of head lice stick directly to the hair shaft and appear as oval white dots. In some poor and backward mountain villages, it is common to see some elderly people carefully and meticulously catching head lice eggs for their granddaughters under the winter sun. After catching the eggs and adult lice, they pinch them with two fingers to make a sound, kill them and then throw them away.

Adult head lice are also known as "nits" in the folk. They are wingless insects that reproduce very quickly. The male and female can lay eggs two days after mating. The eggs will turn into larvae after a week. One or two hours after becoming adults, they can suck blood from the scalp. After the larvae shed their skin three times, they will become adult head lice and continue to complete a new round of egg-laying and reproduction.
