Restlessness is a common symptom of anxiety disorder. We know that anxiety disorder is a common mental illness. If this disease is serious, it will cause great harm to health. If it is a mild anxiety disorder, it can be improved through some self-treatment, but if it is serious, it should be treated in time. As a patient, you must first understand what anxiety disorder is and what are the manifestations of anxiety disorder. Early symptoms of anxiety disorders mainly include: (1) Mood changes: The most prominent symptom of the patient is persistent depression, manifested as gloomy expression, listlessness, drowsiness, easy tears and crying. Patients often use words such as "depressed", "sad", "dull", "empty", "lonely", and "as if there is a wall between you and others" to describe their mood. Patients often feel depressed and gloomy, and often lose their temper over trivial matters. Over a long period of time, the mood is low most of the time. Even if the mood improves for a few days or 1 to 2 weeks, it will soon fall into depression again. Despite this, the patient's depression is generally not severe and emotional reactions still exist. A few humorous aphorisms can make them laugh. A relaxing conversation can temporarily improve one's mood. The patient himself is also able to perceive his own emotional abnormalities, but often blames them on others or the environment. (2) Cognitive changes: Patients lack interest in daily activities, do not experience pleasure in various exciting or pleasant things, and often feel inferior, self-blame, and guilt. I often feel that my brain is slow to react and it is difficult to think about problems. They always think the worst when things happen, lose confidence in life, think that their future is bleak and hopeless, feel that life is meaningless, and even attempt suicide. (3) Changes in will and behavior: Patients have reduced willpower and find it difficult to concentrate on their work. Although they may have lofty ideals and ambitions, they rarely put their feet on the ground to do it. They want to socialize, but lack the courage and confidence to do so. The patient behaves passively and overly dependent in every aspect, and the psychological problem lies in his unwillingness to take responsibility. Generally speaking, patients with depressive neurosis rarely commit suicide, but some patients feel that life is empty and boring and claim that they want to die. (4) Physical symptoms: About 80% of the cases seek help from doctors mainly due to physical symptoms such as insomnia, headache, body pain, dizziness, blurred vision, and tinnitus. These symptoms often give the body a feeling of being numerous and changeable, and some symptoms can exist for a long time without obvious aggravation or relief. Most of these symptoms disappear as the depression subsides. |
