Ingredients

24 light pink film-coated tablets containing hormones: Each tablet contains 0.02 mg ethinyl estradiol (in the form of b-cyclodextrin inclusion complex) and 3 mg drospirenone.

4 hormone-free, white film-coated tablets.

Characteristics

Tablets containing hormones are light pink film-coated tablets, which appear white after removing the coating.

The hormone-free tablets are white film-coated tablets with a regular hexagon engraved on one side and the word "DP" engraved in the middle.

Indications

Female oral contraception.

Moderate acne vulgaris, suitable for menarche women aged ≥ 14 years with no known contraindications to oral contraceptives. This product should be used to treat acne only if the patient wishes to use oral contraceptives as a form of birth control.

Each tablet contains drospirenone 3 mg and ethinyl estradiol (β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex) 0.02 mg

Taboo

Women who are known to have the following conditions should not use this product:

Renal impairment

Adrenal insufficiency

Those at increased risk of arterial or venous thromboembolic disease. Include women known to have:

- Smoker and over 35 years old

- Current or past deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism

- Cerebrovascular disease

- Coronary heart disease

- Thrombotic valvular heart disease or thrombotic heart rhythm disorders (eg, subacute bacterial endocarditis with valvular disease or atrial fibrillation)

- Inherited or acquired hypercoagulable disorders

- Uncontrolled hypertension

- Diabetes with vascular disease

- Headache with focal neurological symptoms; or migraine with or without aura, and age over 35 years

Undiagnosed abnormal uterine bleeding

Current or past history of breast cancer or other estrogen- or progesterone-sensitive cancers

· Benign or malignant liver tumors or liver diseases

Pregnancy, as there is no reason to use combined COCs during pregnancy

Allergic to the active ingredient or any of its excipients
