From elementary school to university, students have to go through countless exams, especially some very important exams, which often lead to nervousness. How to overcome exam anxiety

1. Rest before the exam.

In the first half of the day before the exam, we should take a proper rest to give our brain some time to relax. We should not continue studying. The learning effect at this time will not be very good and it will also affect our state the next day.

2. Do appropriate exercise.

In the period before the exam, you should do regular exercise. Don’t think that it is a waste of time. Taking half an hour or an hour every day to run will relax your body and mind, enhance your immunity and memory, which is very beneficial for students.

3. Engage in appropriate recreational activities.

Before the exam, you should combine work and rest, go out to relax with friends and family, take a walk in the park or play ball, do something you like and can fully mobilize your enthusiasm. After combining work and rest, your learning efficiency will be higher, which is more conducive to getting good grades.

4. Avoid having random thoughts before the exam.

Many candidates will be overly nervous before the exam and start to think about random things. They will think about some bad things, what will happen if they don’t do well in the exam, whether they will be criticized by the teacher or scolded by their parents. Some students even have strong self-esteem and worry about being laughed at by their classmates. In fact, these considerations are useless. Even if they happen, you can’t solve them in advance. So we should empty our brains and let nature take its course. This will help us perform well in the exam.

5. Eat a light diet.

Many parents always like to cook big fish and meat for their children, thinking that these are nutritious. In fact, for students, a diet that is too greasy is not good for physical growth and will increase children's laziness. It is okay to eat it appropriately, but not too much. It can be paired with some light food, or eat some nuts, which are very helpful for children's brain development and physical health. 6. Ensure adequate sleep.

After 11 o'clock at night is the normal rest time for the human body. You should not review your homework or read late at night. The learning efficiency at this time is particularly low. The brain can no longer work at as high speed as during the day, and it has entered a period of fatigue. So it is better to put down the book, drink a glass of fresh milk, have a good rest, and make adequate preparations for the next day's study. It will achieve twice the result with half the effort.
