If the surface of the wound has healed, but there is still pain inside, this may be caused by inflammation, which often leads to the following symptoms. In addition, the severity may vary depending on the different parts of the body. If the wound has undergone surgery before and there is pain in it, it may be caused by improper treatment before. Let us learn about it. For external medications that promote wound healing, for wounds with a lot of exudate, you can apply saline gauze; for wounds with a lot of pus or exudate and necrotic tissue, it is advisable to use 0.5-1% neomycin solution for wet compresses, or Qingda injection, and then cover with cotton pads and bandage with adhesive tape or bandages. If the wound is clean and dry, just apply dry gauze to fix it. If the patient's wound is minor, has abundant blood supply and a low chance of infection, the wound can be simply moistened with normal saline and bandaged with sterile dressing materials. For wounds with skin defects, the defect area should be repeatedly rinsed with saline and the surrounding area can be routinely disinfected with iodine. After disinfection, cover it with saline gauze or vaseline gauze. Saline gauze is beneficial for keeping the wound fresh and dry, while vaseline gauze is beneficial for the growth of granulation tissue on the wound. The principle of treating infected or contaminated wounds is to drain pus and remove sutures when necessary. Enlarge the wound, drain thoroughly, rinse the wound repeatedly with hydrogen peroxide and saline, and thoroughly cleanse any necrotic tissue. Then pack the wound with antibiotic gauze. It is best to disinfect the area around the wound with two coats of iodine and three coats of alcohol. When there is secretion, change the dressing once a day. For wounds that cannot heal for a long time or heal slowly, use wound-closing prescriptions and dressing changes to promote wound healing as soon as possible. Note: Intermittent dressing changes are better than daily dressing changes. Because this method allows the body to have a physiological cleansing effect during the rest process, the wound has a chance to repair; on the contrary, continuous stimulation of the wound will make it difficult to heal. And the less the tissue is stimulated, the less likely it is to fester, and the less festering a wound is, the easier it is to heal. When changing the wound dressing, you can take some vitamin drugs. Vitamin C can promote blood coagulation and increase anti-infection ability; vitamin B2 can promote wound healing; vitamin B12 has a certain analgesic effect. In addition, some foods can also make wounds heal quickly. For example, eating foods rich in zinc, foods rich in glucose, foods rich in protein, and foods containing vitamins A and C can also accelerate wound healing. |
