Can I get a tattoo on my belly scar?

Scars exist for a long time, and you may subconsciously think that they will not be infected, but from a professional point of view, this is not the case. Considering the external environmental factors and surgical facilities during tattooing, it is very likely that the original scars will be infected by adverse factors in the air during or after the tattooing process. If other things grow, it will affect your health and appearance. You can go to a regular cosmetic surgery hospital for a check-up.

How to remove belly scars

1. Do not peel off the scab on the wound. It is best to wait for the scab to fall off naturally. If you peel off the scab of the wound too early, the epidermal cells that are still in the repair stage will be taken away, which can easily stimulate the wound to itch.

2. Protect scars. In the early stages of scars, try to avoid direct sunlight or the wound from cracking. The stimulation of ultraviolet rays can easily cause pigmentation, making scars more obvious. If the wound splits, it will not only be bad for the body, but will also make the wound bigger and the scar area larger.

3. Handle scar itching with caution. 2-3 weeks after the incision has scabbed over, the scar will begin to proliferate and the scar will become red, purple, and hard. After three and a half months, the scars can become itchy, especially in hot weather. It is best not to scratch it with your hands, as this can easily infect the skin. The best way is to apply some anti-itching ointment and keep the scar clean.

4. During delivery, it is best to clean your whole body thoroughly before surgery. After the operation, you should change the scar dressing frequently, keep the wound clean, breathable and the surrounding environment dry at all times, and avoid wound infection and hematoma, which will delay the healing period.

Scar removal method

Apply lemon juice to the scar. Lemon juice contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which can exfoliate dead skin cells, promote new cell growth, and restore skin elasticity. As a natural bleaching agent, it can also lighten the pigmentation of scars.

Make sure the scar and surrounding area are thoroughly clean.

Soak a cotton ball in some lemon juice.

Then wipe the scar area.

Leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off.

After applying lemon juice on the skin, the skin will become very sensitive to light, so be sure to apply sunscreen when going out.

Use honey. Raw honey can also be used to get rid of scars. It is a natural moisturizer and is very effective in treating wounds, stimulating tissue regeneration.

Mix 2 tablespoons of raw honey with 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

Massage the mixture on the scar for 3 minutes.

Apply a hot, wet cloth to the scar area.

When the compress cools down, wash the mixture off.

Note: You can make an exfoliating mixture by mixing 2 tablespoons of raw honey with 1 tablespoon of baking soda to help reduce the appearance of scars.
