If pubic folliculitis causes multiple small pustules or large pustules in clusters, antibiotics can be used for treatment, either orally, by intravenous drip, or by injection. What to do for genital folliculitis 4: Local treatment If the pustule is mature and the tip is white, the pustule can be punctured for drainage. After puncture and drainage, it can be cleaned with saline or other disinfectants, and then antibiotic ointment, sulfonamide ointment or 2% iodine tincture can be applied to the periphery of the pustule. What to do for pubic folliculitis: Find the cause. If the pustules mature and have not dried and scabbed after three days of the above treatment, you need to look for other causes.
