How to make Bazhen Soup

How to make Bazhen Soup

Bazhen Decoction is a recipe of traditional Chinese medicine. It is a decoction made by mixing together eight kinds of medicinal materials including Codonopsis pilosula, Poria cocos, Rehmannia glutinosa, etc. It has many effects on people, such as relieving dizziness and tinnitus, regulating people's qi and blood, and can also be used to regulate the body after people recover from a serious illness. After talking so much about the Eight Treasures Soup, how do you make it? Let me introduce it in detail below.

practice

1. Take a set of Bazhen Decoction ingredients (Dangshen, Baizhu, Poria, Roasted Licorice, Rehmannia, Angelica, Chuanxiong, White Peony, Jujube, Ginger) and wash them with clean water first;

2. Add 3 bowls of cool water to the washed herbs and soak them for 20 to 30 minutes (the 3 bowls of water added here cannot be poured out after soaking, as it is used for the first decoction). This way, the decoction will have a better effect.

3. After soaking in the second step above, start decocting the medicine. First boil it over high heat, then simmer it over low heat (the low heat can keep the medicine soup inside boiling). Simmer it over low heat for about 30 minutes. When one bowl of soup is left, pour out the medicine soup. At this time, the first round of boiling of medicinal soup is completed;

4. Add 2 bowls of water to the medicinal residue, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 25 minutes. When 1 bowl of water is left, pour out the medicinal soup. At this time, the second round of boiling the medicinal soup is completed;

5. Repeat step 4. The third round of boiling of the medicinal soup is now completed, which also means that the three rounds of boiling of a set of Eight Treasures Soup have been completed;

6. Mix the medicinal soup prepared three times above evenly.

What other foods can replenish qi and blood?

1. Longan meat

Longan meat is also known as jujube meat. Longan contains vitamins A and B, glucose and sucrose, and is rich in iron. Longan soup, longan wine and other foods are very suitable for pregnant women and postpartum women, and are good blood-enriching foods!

2. Dried mulberries

Dried mulberries are the fruit and its products that contain the richest natural iron, containing 42.5 mg of iron per 100 grams, making them worthy of the title of "blood-replenishing fruit" among fruits. It is generally recommended to cook dried mulberries into porridge. Eating a bowl of mulberry porridge every day can not only replenish blood but also beautify the skin, but pregnant women should use it with caution.

3. Black dates

The most popular dried dates are black dates and candied dates, which contain 3.7-3.9 mg of iron per 100 grams, and are considered excellent blood-enriching foods. Dried dates are also rich in vitamin C, which is an important factor in promoting the absorption of iron ions, allowing the body to absorb iron more efficiently. However, dried dates are rich in dietary fiber, which is not easy to digest, so it is not advisable to eat too much every day, and it is best to eat them in soup or porridge.

4. Red dates

Red dates are rich in vitamins, fructose and various amino acids. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that red dates are warm in nature, nourish and protect blood, and can improve blood circulation. Pharmacological studies have found that certain ingredients in red dates can increase the content of red blood cells in the blood, enhance the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow, and make the face rosy. The combination of red dates and longans can not only replenish blood and qi, but also improve skin quality and beautify the skin. Girls who love face may wish to try it.
