What impact does filming have on children?
The rapid development of modern medical technology has led to the emergence of many advanced examination and treatment methods, which have greatly protected the health of many patients. For example, chest X-ray is a common advanced diagnostic technology that can accurately locate the site of lesions in the internal organs of the human body and lay the foundation for treatment. However, chest X-rays have a certain degree of radiation. Let’s take a look at the effects of taking X-rays on children.

The purpose of doing a chest X-ray is mainly to check for abnormalities in the heart, liver, and lungs, and most importantly to detect tuberculosis. Chest X-ray is mainly used to examine and diagnose lung diseases, heart size, ribs, pleura, chest wall mediastinum, and bronchi. More obvious bronchiectasis, emphysema or pulmonary edema, various types of pulmonary tuberculosis, lung tumors; pleura, chest wall and mediastinum; pleural effusion, pneumothorax, mediastinal tumors, heart size, ribs, etc.

1. X-rays penetrating the human body will produce certain biological effects. If the body is exposed to too much X-rays, which exceeds the range that the body can withstand, it may cause a radioactive reaction and even cause a certain degree of radioactive damage. 2. The amount of radiation from chest X-ray is the largest among all X-ray examinations. If the left chest is X-rayed too frequently, it may cause lesions in the human body. Too much radiation injected into the body may even cause cancer.

3. Therefore, when doing medical imaging examinations, if possible, you can give priority to MRI, which does not emit radioactive radiation. However, many diagnostic MRIs do not solve the problem. Generally, an X-ray is taken first, and a chest X-ray is done if necessary. Therefore, it is best to choose a regular large hospital for treatment and follow the doctor's advice. In addition, the diagnosis and treatment standards for children and pregnant women are different from those for ordinary adults. Note: Pregnant women cannot undergo chest X-rays to avoid radiation-induced fetal malformations or miscarriage. Women who show signs of pregnancy or are already pregnant must be cautious. If they must undergo a radiology examination, it is best to wear anti-radiation clothing to protect their abdomen from radiation. It is also better for children to have fewer radiation examinations, and X-rays can be used instead of chest X-rays.
